The nfo you have shown above zorg200k worked first time as shown below, thanks. When i add new albums and artists do i export in kodi audio settings?.If so will it leave my current nfo files.

Hi, Setting / Music / Library / Export Music Library , then choose separate, then export thums and fanart "yes" and then "no" to overwrite old files

Cheers zorg2000k, you've been a great help.

RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - Mike_Doc - 2016-02-15

Personally, I do not use export library for music, especially the separate option. I've had my music library effectively turned to garbage using it in the past, think it might be mainly connected to various artists but since the last time I just stay clear of it. May have change of course but not worth the risk anymore.

I either build the manually or use Mediaelch where I can for music nfos.

There is also a syntax naming artwork conflict if you use nfo's.
Look in your folders and you'll see all the dupes.
Want to get rid of the dupes?
Don't use the 'Export' feature which creates the nfo's.

I don't get why I should use nfo's for music anyway..

Didn't mediaelch just pull the info from musicbrainz/ audiodb, like the kodi scanner?

If you care for type (cd/ep) witch I don't, or mood, that you can read from tag's also, its many superior to the kodi scanner. But I'm just to lazy to create nfos for my 1000+ CD's Big Grin

I've been slowly working through all my music collection and creating everything via nfo, I've also made over 6000+ updates to the audiodb website for missing info as well as I work my way through my collection.

807 artists so far with 810 still to go, about 3 month so far so about another 3-4 months of work to go LOL

Holy chromoly you guys ! like Zorg2k I spent nearly a year cleaning my Music collection.. creating logo's , custom extrafanarts, the whole nine yards. then the hard drive with ALL my data failed and "poof " just like that.. ALL Gone...1TB worth of Ripped & MP3 Tagged , bleeding all my Man hours worth of work.. gone.. it broke my heart.. Now I just have a very small collection..just 30Gb worth.. which I will very slowly whip into shape ( and backed up ).
So Moral of the story... Backup your precious data ..
