@davilla , it's like when i play the video, it's not smooth.
Sometime it stops, sometime it plays.
I play mkv file.

the problem that i got.

this is the pictures step by step.

i select video file

it's show the sever for selecting I use (upnp) Plex media sever from this (http://www.plexapp.com/download/win-download-new.php)

it shows movie files

i tried to play the movie but it doesn't play

Persistent aren't you Smile You solve it by paying attention to the posts that say that hardware video decode is not available yet on generic android. At the moment, only Pivos devices can do hardware video decode.

Will there be another release of the XBMC-Linux Beta for pivos this week with the current fixes (timezone, synch, etc.). Reason I ask is that we are leaving for vacation this Friday and are taking the pivos for entertainment for kids etc.

@davilla ,

it's doesn't the hardware.
I use the galaxy note , archos 80g9 and hero tab 9.7.
And i use avia, softmedia player , moviebrowser UpnP , homedia and another apps that use UPnP.
These apps can be played.
But all of these doesn't as good as XBMC.
I hope this can use another player to play.

XBMC FOR ANDROID IS UNFINISHED. IT HAS BUGS.

Fin000: XBMC for Android is too early in development for us to tell what boxes it will run smoothly on (except for the Pivos XIOS, which is the initial development target).

How can I use XBMC to select External player on android?
