We have now adjusted OpenWeatherMap addon which has five maps. Also we have Weather Underground for which we have a fix: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=206699
I think you should allow the full use of both addon's in Aeon Nox including widgets.

I won´t support a weather add-on which requires manual API key input. Simple as that.
OpenWeatherMap maps are already integrated. and it´s possible that I will also add widgets for that. you´re makin life pretty easy for you by just sayin "Just support all" though . It all requires a pretty heavy amount of work.

Did you remove the "fanart now playing" from main menu?

nope, didnt touch that i think, but possible that the setting is hidden atm because nowplaying options were moved.

RE: Welcome back - Development updates - snyft - 2014-11-06

Awesome work, have yet to notice any bugs in helix.
With that said I can't help but feel that the overall text in the skin and menus look all very small out of place compared to Nox 5.

Would love some rework on the player control interface.

I prefer smaller text on lot of occasions and won´t change that, sorry. Just personal preference.
What do you mean with player control interface? MusicVis will get a rework soon.

And there are quite a few bugs left, I can promise you Wink

RE: Welcome back - Development updates - sat4all - 2014-11-06

Hi phil,

with latest gits, i have noticed that the gui fps dropped from 60 to 30fps so the menu's are very laggy.
also the bluray, dvd..etc flags dissapeared and got replaced by the codec tags.
bugs or my problem?

thank you & kind regards

Didnt experience yet. (in general performance should be much improved in comparison to older versions because in the last weeks I mainly removed stuff)
You could post your debug log, would be worth a try.
Only other option for you is probably to go back the commit timeline and see which commit introduces that regression.

RE: Welcome back - Development updates - Saner - 2014-11-06

Fantastic Phil, thanks once again.

thx phil,
well for now, i couldn't spot when exactly this prob started. i will do more investigation.
i suspected the skin, bcs other skins like aeon nox 5 got no such problem.
another thing, the info barre not working any more. while playing a video when u toggle info, u get two barres top & bottom with time progress time...etc, now when toggling info nothings shows up.
4 or 5 days back git version bring it back and media type flags either.

cheers

Edit: after all, the fps dropping it was an openelec bug. sorry for waisting your time

concerning the fullscreeninfo: Do you use latest version of script.home? Probably not. Wink

RE: Welcome back - Development updates - noonzascript - 2014-11-07

Hi Phil,

I'm having a problem with skinshortcuts. It will not run so I cannot access the sub menu. Any idea what's happening?

I'm running your skin and all the addons which are all updated via github and only skinshortcuts is not recognised in kodi beta 1.

Also I can't change the settings for the infopanel. I get an extended info error script. Does that have anything to do with skinshortcuts plugin since extendedinfo is already updated?

Edit: starting from scratch before I try anything

I mean the icons for the player: http://i.imgur.com/J1LkQ8x.jpg

The small/compact thing i was talking about.

Aeon 5 have the boxes separated. And it just looks right imo.
