There is no new buildy yet I will kick of a new build myself Edit: Subtitles works again on Rpi with http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=169674&pid=1590227#pid1590227 missing subtitle stream - sonic - 2014-01-06 Got one more question regarding this. Does this fix apply to all PVR addons or just TVheadend? (2014-01-05, 19:19)Jönke Wrote:(2014-01-05, 17:38)sonic Wrote: Was it in the new nightly build? Or is there maybe a compiled pvr build somewhere else we can try? Great RE: missing subtitle stream - negge - 2014-01-06 @sonic: only tvheadend, it is the only addon that internally converts teletext subtitle pages to raw text subs. That's why they use XBMCs font settings instead of the bone-ugly teletext font. I'm not sure how other backends do it or how XBMC handles that. missing subtitle stream - sonic - 2014-01-06 @negge: Thanks for your answer . Why I asked is that one of my PVR sources runs mediaportal TV-server. [split] missing subtitle stream - Jönke - 2014-01-14 @negge same thing on osx build from yesterday. When zapping channels (without stop) sometimes some channels fail to show subtitles. RE: missing subtitle stream - Ace - 2014-01-14 Maybe the flags or language of the subtitles change. I have no live tv setup yet, so I can't test that. But then stopping playback between shouldn't help. Can you please test that? RE: missing subtitle stream - Jönke - 2014-01-14 From my short test, live tv subtitle never fails if i start a channel from stop, only when zapping it fails (and not all the time) Don´t know if a log would help ? RE: missing subtitle stream - negge - 2014-01-14 Logs always help. RE: missing subtitle stream - Jönke - 2014-01-15 http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=111045 1, zapping some channels 2, zap on Discovery world- no subtitle 3, stop live tv playback and direct play Discovery world- subtitle works fine RE: missing subtitle stream - Jönke - 2014-01-26 @negge did you find anything in the log ? RE: missing subtitle stream - negge - 2014-01-26 No, not really. I'm no expert. I have noticed too that sometimes when I switch to a channel the subtitles are supposed to be enabled (they are but they don't show), after I switch between them they start displaying. Don't know if it's the same issue or if it's related somehow. RE: missing subtitle stream - Jönke - 2014-01-29 (2013-07-29, 18:39)opdenkamp Wrote: as for the missing subtitles: log shows that the add-on and tvheadend are providing the correct data, and nothing changed in the add-on, pvr api or backend. so this bug appears to be caused by some change in dvdplayer (that probably got ported to omxplayer). @negge was this true ? Or should this topic get moved back to pvr development / pvr help and support ? Would really like this issue fixed before Gotham final , updated ticket here http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/14520#comment:6 RE: missing subtitle stream - negge - 2014-01-29 That's likely a problem with the player, not the tvheadend addon. RE: missing subtitle stream - Kib - 2014-01-30 Guys i split this from http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=169386 and closed that because we are now talking about a different issue. Scratch that, forum goes berserk if I try. I put everything back together. Jönke, would you mind editing your first post and the topic to signify what issues have been fixed and which still exist ? RE: missing subtitle stream - Jönke - 2014-01-30 I´ve started a new thread with only the current issue http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=184945 @Kib you can close this thread |
