Inside the media folder of the skin, create a folder called styles. Place the banners in there. Should pick them up Big Grin

@latts9923

One more thing. Is the theme preview working on yours for your xmas and halloween theme. Mine displays a blank preview. The theme works fine once selected just be nice to have the preview showing like the rest while browsing down through them.

I guess the animated halloween style only works in jarvis? Not long now to jarvis stable i hope Big Grin

hmm I still seem to have an issue with textures -

RE: [MOD] Holiday (Snow Effect) option in Aeon MQ5. - latts9923 - 2015-12-03

@the_bo

Yeah, I just noticed the other day that there is no preview window for the holiday themes. I'll take a look at it and update the zips when I fix it.

@bry-

Make sure you download the first download link I posted...not the one missing the texture file. If you don't have the Textures.xbt file in the skin's media folder, you won't be able to navigate in KODI as all the graphics will be missing.

@latts9923 that is the one I grabbed - I have the textures.xbt file in the media folder and am still not able to navigate.

i removed and deleted and re-copied, etc. not sure what else to do?

I am running MQ6 version 3.2. Has anyone tried this with 3.2?

All,

I fixed all the extrapack themes so now they will all show a preview of their images like the Colors theme does. If you've installed the Holiday mod, look in your IncludesVariables.xml file and find the two variables below...starting around line 2885. Paste this code in place of what you have and you should be in business! For the Christmas and Halloween themes, I chose the settings folder as the preview images. You can choose whichever folder you like.

Code:
<variable name="value_mainmenubg_preview">
    <value condition="Control.HasFocus(9100) + Container(9100).HasFocus(22)">special://skin/backgrounds/</value>
    <value condition="Control.HasFocus(1062)">special://skin/backgrounds/</value>
    <value condition="Control.HasFocus(1063)">special://userdata/addon_data/skin.aeonmq6.extrapack/backgrounds_reddish/</value>

@the_bo

You bet! They do look much better now with the preview windows working. I was thinking the same thing about adding more themes...Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving will be coming in the future!

FYI...Michelob Ultra is my beer of choice.Nod

@bry-

I didn't see anything that would cause a problem from the file you uploaded. It looks like you got it working from the imgur pics above. Is everything cool now?
