Thank you!
Disregard.. It seems to be working now.  I'm not sure what happened.

Hi,

The addon is not working since yesterday, when I'm trying to execute it it can't be opened. I'm running the last version of the addon on raspberry pi3+, Libreelec 8.2.5 Kodi Krpyton 17.6

Here you have the full log when I execute the addon:

https://paste.kodi.tv/oxoyucexor.kodi

What could be happening?

Thanks!

@The Diplomat Do not post log snippets which you think are relevant.
Always post full uncut Debug Log .
From the snippet all I can see is that a dependency lib is missing on your system.
The cause can't be determined from your snippet.

Buffering issue, first some videos, now most, a reboot helps, tested in Odroid C2, C4 and RPI4.

When a video buffers, I stop playing and try it again in a minute or two. It almost always works.

I try almost immediately, and it works too. Usually.

When will they fix it? It's been going on for months. Very annoying.

RPi4, LibreELEC 9.95.4, Kodi 19.1, YouTube 6.8.15+matrix.1

The developers don't get paid for their contributions, so you'll have to be patient. Also, the problem is most likely due to YouTube, not Kodi.

RE: YouTube - drrak - 2021-07-24

I see. Are you sure it's a YouTube problem? I am asking because I had no problems with buffering on the PC.

RE: YouTube - jjsr19801 - 2021-07-24

Hi,

I'm using kodi matrix 19.1 (nightly) on win10 64bit. Youtube addon 6.8.15 With own API Keys. I can't remember when exactly, but my watch later list and purchased Videos have disappeared someday. Possibly some changes under the hood at the Company?

@jjsr1980 / @jjsr19801 - why do you have two accounts? Is the 19801 one superfluous to needs?

Generally we do not allow users to have multiple accounts, as per our forum rules (wiki).

Here is a (partial) list of channels, who's videos always ALWAYS buffer:
https://youtube.com/c/MxRPlays
https://youtube.com/c/ForgottenWeapons
https://youtube.com/c/JerryRigEverything
https://youtube.com/user/DemolitionRanch

They work fine over a browser, but I also think it's not the add-ons or Kodis fault, more the unofficial unsupported part... And that the developers are doing their best to jump through Googles hoops, so I thank you and I hope my discripitions and logs are clear and adhere to the guidelines :-)

Same for me. And if that doesn't work (or I don't want to wait) I just play at a lower video resolution, as at least in my case the informational part of the video often doesn't require a picture-perfect image.

RE: YouTube - DjDiabolik - 2021-07-27

@TO ALL

It happens to you sometime your kodi FAILS to initizialize buffering when you try to open a video ?? When it's append i need to STOP the current reproduction and usually if i reopen all step back to works and i can reproduce same video whitout any issue.

It's a my trouble ?

RE: YouTube - DarrenHill - 2021-07-27

I get this occasionally, not specifically through Kodi but also in Chrome.

In my case I think it's due to the PC routing via a Pi-Hole to block ads, and that sometimes messes up the connection. I also see it on YouTube-DL sometimes.

As you note, refreshing and trying again usually works, but to be sure I've hooked my PiHole up to Home Assistant and set up commands to enable PH to be remotely enabled and disabled.
