Is it possible to set CouchPotato to move and rename the downloaded file without it creating a folder?

I could swear I used to have it set up to do this by simply leaving the folder naming option blank in the Renaming section of the settings, but this doesn't seem to work. It simply causes CP to refuse to move or rename the file.

misterpink Wrote:Ok, so for example, lets say that CP finds and DLs a specific release. I decide that I want it to DL a different one, so I tell it to reprocess, and when it asks if it should re-DL the same one, I say no. Now if I have buyers remourse on that secont one and want to go back and dl the original one, there is no way I can ever do that. When CP sees it, it generates this in the logs: "INFO [pp.lib.provider.yarr.base] Already tried this one, ignored:" - even if I completely delete the movie from the interface and readd it. Was just wondering if there was a way to clear out that memory should I ever want to go back and DL something over again.

A simple solution for this would be to clear the "previously downloaded" history when the movie is deleted from CP. That way, if the movie is re-added, the misterpink's request will work.

Wondering the same thing myself.
My library is just a hard drive with individual mkv files. No need for folders!

I recall back in July that turning off folders was unsupported, but has this been implemented yet?

is there a way to prevent the renaming script opening a python window when run, as i am running CP on the same box as XBMC and when the script is run it goes back to the desktop with the python script window open

No, you can't do this.

CP checks the existing destination location for video files smaller than the newly downloaded file and deletes them.

I suppose it will get implemented eventually, it's not a terribly high priority at the moment though, since it doesn't actually affect the functionality.

When searching for trailers for existing movies, does CP use the folder name or the file name? I see this in my logs, for instance:

10:58:45,520 INFO [app.lib.cron.cronTrailer] No match found for: Fight.Club.1999.720p.BluRay.DTS-ES.x264-ESiR.mkv

It's obviously not going to find something as terribly named as that, but the folder for the above file is \Fight Club, which I imagine would be found off the bat.

Also, I don't see a rhyme or reason, but CP will just stop searching for trailers. I'll check the logs and not see any activity for 10 minutes or more. I'll start the process again and it'll go along it's merry way.

nice App, I just got it configured today, I haven't read through this large thread, so if this feature has been discussed before I apologies in advance...

is it possible to have a main page that will list current, or upcoming movie releases. Instead of having to search and create your own list of movies to watch for. It would be nice to have it pull from a database of new movies, that we can then check off

I've got CP installed along with XBMC Dharma and the sabnzb addon. I can't tell if CP is actually doing anything though. I can log into the webgui and tell that it is running. I think my Sabnzb isnt running though and I can't figure out how to tell if it is. I paid for the NZBMatrix subscription as well and entered in the API key of both NZBMatrix and Sabnzb. any help would be appreciated.

You can tell if SAB is running by going to the site: http://ipaddress:8080/sabnzbd. You should see your queue and history. You can test CP by telling it to look for a movie that you know is available on NZBMatrix. It should pick it right up and send it to SAB.

Sabs not running and every time I try to execute with "sabnzbdplus" I get brought into a wizard which allows me to configure it and I get to the end and cannot go any further to restart SAB. ENTER simpl does nothing here.

- Mike8913 - 2011-01-01

Next to the Test server and start Sab in the Wizard it says [BUTTON INPUT] (not implemented)

- ECEC - 2011-01-02

What version are you using? Sounds either outdated or corrupt. Uninstall and redownload, then re-install SAB. After the setup wizard you should be able to access it via the url I posted above. Get SAB up and running and then deal with CP integration.

SAB Log

Thats my log. It shows that sabnzbd is up and running on 9090 but I still can't access any webgui

This is the end of my CP log

Code:
17:41:58 INFO  [        app.lib.cron.yarr] Finished search.
17:41:58 ERROR [          app.lib.sabNzbd] Unable to connect to SAB.
17:41:58 INFO  [          app.lib.sabNzbd] URL: http://localhost:9090/sabnzbd/api?

how do I uninstall SAB from terminal? I am a noob so you know.

This is the sabnzbd.ini. Maybe I have something screwed up here?

Im running CP on windows and it works great except for renaming and moving the files. If I let it do that, then there is no way that I can see them on my xbmc (via samba). Sabnzbd is configured that it chmods 777 and with sickbeard everything works fine. So, is it correct that CP messes with the rights for the files?

- Goetterdaemmeru - 2011-01-02

Also running CP (on ubuntu), and it's working great except for renaming files. My problem is that it seems to trip on most movies. I'll search for a title, it successfully finds the correct nzb via nzbmatrix, sends it to sabnzbd, but when it detects that it's downloaded, doesn't match it back to the original title. Example:

Code:
03:12:05 INFO  [.lib.provider.yarr.search] Checking if http://nzbmatrix.com/api-nzb-download.php?id=646124&username=<>&apikey=<> is valid.
03:12:17 INFO  [          app.lib.sabNzbd] Sending 'AMERICAN PSYCHO   Uncut 2000 Eng WS DVDrip haSak' to SABnzbd.
03:12:17 INFO  [          app.lib.sabNzbd] URL: http://localhost:8090/sabnzbd/api?apikey=<>&mode=addurl&name=http%3A%2F%2Fnzbmatrix.com%2Fapi-nzb-d
ownload.php%3Fid%3D646124%26username%3D<>%26apikey%3D<>&cat=couchpotato
03:12:17 INFO  [          app.lib.sabNzbd] NZB sent to SAB successfully.
03:20:27 INFO  [          app.lib.library] Searching for "AMERICAN_PSYCHO___Uncut_2000_Eng_WS_DVDrip_haSak".
03:20:27 INFO  [.movie.sources.theMovieDb] Searching: http://api.themoviedb.org/2.1/Movie.search/en/xml/9b939aee0aaafc12a65bf448e4af9543/american+psycho+uncut+2000
03:20:28 INFO  [.movie.sources.theMovieDb] TheMovieDB - Found: []
03:20:28 INFO  [movie.sources.imdbWrapper] IMDB - Searching for movie: american_psycho___uncut_ 2000
03:20:28 INFO  [     app.lib.cron.renamer] No Match found for: None

In this case, american psycho remained in the sabnzbd download folder.

In the case of pulp fiction, it took the path

Code:
/media/usb/Media/CouchPotato/Pulp_Fiction_CE_1994_INTERNAL_DVDRip_XviD_SChiZO/Pulp.Fiction.CE.1994.INTERNAL.DVDRip.XviD-SChiZO/CD1/Pulp.Fiction.CE.1994.CD1.INTERNAL.DVDRip.XviD-SChiZO.avi

and searched IMDB for "CD1", yielding "L'ennemi public n degrees 1 (2008)".

Code:
03:29:37 INFO  [     app.lib.cron.renamer] Moving file "/media/usb/Media/CouchPotato/Pulp_Fiction_CE_1994_INTERNAL_DVDRip_XviD_SChiZO/Pulp.Fiction.CE.1994.INTERNAL.DVDRip.XviD-SChiZO/CD1/Pulp.Fiction.CE.1994.CD1.INTERNAL.DVDRip.XviD-SChiZO.avi" to /media/usb/Media/Movies/L'ennemi public n degrees 1 (2008)/L'ennemi public n degrees 1.avi.
.

Pulp Fiction's cd2 avi file went to "D2 The Mighty Ducks (1994)".
