RE: [RELEASE] ustvnow - tonyg79 - 2013-08-15

in order to get the addon working for non paid subscriber ..you need to lower the quality to 400kbps in addon setting because the made the hd paid version only...

which sucks but free...cant complain Big Grin

RE: [RELEASE] ustvnow - jmh2002 - 2013-08-15

streaming at 750kbps here, seems all ok (quick 5 minute test)

well they give you a 45 day free trial for hd....when did you register?

RE: [RELEASE] ustvnow - silenuz nowan - 2013-08-16

I too am having trouble with it cutting out after 5- 10 seconds, setting the quality to 750 kbps or 400 kbps does not make a difference.

In fact that's correct, thanks for reminding me and clarifying the situation Smile

[RELEASE] ustvnow - esso1001 - 2013-08-19

If you register with a new account youll get a couple of days of 720 hd again but you will have to create a new account like every 3 days. If not youll be stuck with 420...

I guess they track your IP address so eventually they'll know but creating a new account every 3 days for free HD doesnt hurt.. Annoying but free..

RE: [RELEASE] ustvnow - Clobber - 2013-08-25

On the web, my HD expired months ago but it always looks great on XBMC (choosing 1024). However, I am now suddenly getting only 5-10 seconds of playback no matter what quality setting I choose. My impression is there is an end of stream detected or something.

Edit: Yeah, looks like the RTMP stream just fails (see log below)

Edit2: RTSP streams of recordings (free DVR) seem to be working just fine.

RE: [RELEASE] ustvnow - RGB_Gamer - 2013-08-28

Does anyone.other than me with a paid account have an issue with accessing recordings? Every time I try to access recordings, it says "waiting", but never stops. I have to restart XBMC when that happens. And yes, my devices are configured to use my VPN service.

I had this same issue. Logging in to the site and watching a couple streams from there seemed to fix it. Worth a shot.

RE: [RELEASE] ustvnow - RGB_Gamer - 2013-08-28

@spanktastic2120

So you literally just went to the site, watched a couple of streams, and it started working in XBMC/ustvnow add on?

[RELEASE] ustvnow - j2048b - 2013-08-28

Im sorry im not sure what all the issues range from tbh? As i type im watching pbs: curious feorge is on and my boy is sitting right next to me watching it... Like i said in a precious posting I HAD TO DELETE MY USTV NOW ACCOUNT AND THEN GET A NEW ONE! Once i did that i have had no issues streaming the 5-7 free channels they offer! Ice watched football every Sunday on it as well! If ur over seas it may be an issue dont know?

Yup, i just logged in and wanted to check if the streams would drop out on the site, and when they didnt i tested on xbmc and they were working.

RE: [RELEASE] ustvnow - RGB_Gamer - 2013-08-28

I swear i have done that before, but all of a sudden, it works!

Time to get rid of comcast and my ReplayTV...
