- radiantdreamer - 2011-06-02 For the fun of it, I uploaded a video of my anime mascot. Do check it out to see how it's done! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibIj3UXO3rY - buffyamuff - 2011-06-02 Here is my submission http://oli-owen.co.uk/oliblog/images/OliOwen1.jpg The character could have a huge range, as sampled in the pic.... Oli Owen - stoli - 2011-06-02 x23piracy Wrote:Hi, Better yet, xbmc donators over $50 get a custom Zapy. (Not like that would be taking complete advantage of da-anda ) mascot - dickcox - 2011-06-02 Snailosaurus (made out of Plasticine). Makes a great 2d cartoon or 3d toy whatever. Feel free to use it for anything. Thanks. http://www.flickr.com/photos/63584619@N04/5787639735/ - thunderbunny - 2011-06-02 I vote for Zappy. Great job. - da-anda - 2011-06-02 spiff Wrote:please make it dahls Nothing better then a fresh bottle Dahls, right? and here a avatar sized one with a XBMC colored background x23piracy Wrote:what about a user customizable zappy?I acutally thought about that some time ago - my Flash coding skills are a bit rusty though. x23piracy Wrote:Finally your gfx talent is great. Thanks, but I don't think I'm talented. I've once been interested in drawing, but didn't have the time for practicing, so I stopped with it some years ago. The contest actually inspired me to pic this hobby up again. It's a nice contrast to coding all day. Sidenote: Everybody can draw - it's all about practicing and looking at things in your daily life more closely (shapes, reflections, lights, materials,...). At least I've been told so once and can for me say that's true. Drawing is not about talent - the only talent you can have is that you naturally have a better look at things and can visualize those better - drawing itself is mostly practice. So feel inspired, pic up a pencil and start drawing! - natethomas - 2011-06-02 da-anda Wrote:Sidenote: Everybody can draw - it's all about practicing and looking at things in your daily life more closely (shapes, reflections, lights, materials,...). Some people are just better at seeing the world. - radiantdreamer - 2011-06-02 da-anda Wrote:Sidenote: Everybody can draw - it's all about practicing and looking at things in your daily life more closely (shapes, reflections, lights, materials,...). It's so totally true, and has been scientifically proven that anyone can draw. - djdafreund - 2011-06-02 Lots of good entries. Zappy is still to date my favorite still. Nice work to all.. - vampire666 - 2011-06-02 natethomas Wrote:vampire, that is, indeed, the correct time. Good. Thank you. I still have some time then (1 day-ish)... deadline - joen - 2011-06-02 The deadline is near, so here is my summary. "HD"-version "desired colours on request" All entries are so awesome, it will be a hard decision for the jury... Best luck to all. - lehite - 2011-06-02 da-anda Wrote:Sidenote: Everybody can draw - it's all about practicing and looking at things in your daily life more closely (shapes, reflections, lights, materials,...). I am jealous of your patience and dedication to learning the skill! But you have to admit, it comes more naturally to some than others. - No1451 - 2011-06-02 Here is my entry, sorry for it being so close to the deadline. http://www.flickr.com/photos/63496993@N03/5776553315/in/photostream This is just a small version, It can be larger if necessary.
