locomot1f Wrote:one thing i'm noticing.

on my ATV 2, I have several custom category menus -- which use favorites.

when I use these menus to enter, for example, HULU. it loses it's focus. I have to exit back to the home menu, and then re-enter back into HULU, and the focus is there.

I have been noticing this for quite a while. I had seen it in the beta versions but I wasn't sure if was a skin specific or an xbmc issue. Have this installed at several friends atv2s and it is evident on all the installations.

locomot1f Wrote:must admit. my guisettings.xml file is pretty huge. it's got stuff in there from old skins i've used in the past.
if i delete it, i assume it will make a new one, but will i need to start over?

MyVideoNav.xml

This did the trick! beautiful work, lambda -- truly the best skin out here!!!

hopefully this won't mess up anybody else, and you can add it to the next git when you get a chance.

keep us posted!

Scarfa fixed this in git too. He fixed many issues, not only this.

Not sure if you've addressed this, but it would be nice to see the progress bar in a video when the info button is pressed.

I'm getting this error as well.
It can be reproduced by going to Settings -> Skin -> Home -> Add more categories and pressing Enter.

Were you able to resolve it with a skin reset. I reinstalled the skin which fixed it for me. Haven't run into it since Nod

A skin reset does "fix" it (i.e. removes the locked part of the interface), but it's still reproducable by doing the same thing, so it doesn't really solve the problem.
I got the error with the git version that I downloaded yesterday, reinstalling it didn't solve it either. :/

I'll look into it. Are you using the latest master branch version off GitHub? This only happens in "add more categories"?

Try deleting the userdata->guisettings.xml, thats where all the skin settings are stored. It will generate a new one once you start XBMC. Delete skin.rapier and reinstall the skin. Of course make sure you have the latest build of XBMC.
