Skin for PC old enough ? - deckoff - 2011-05-06

My PC hardware struggles when I use XBMC in 1920x1080 mode on my TV. Navigating the menus is sluggish.
Can someone recommend a skin with less eye-candy and faster performance Smile
I believe there is some life still left in my old Thinkpad Smile

Maybe you could tell us what skin you are using now?

I tried with Confluence and MediaStream Redux. Hardware visualisation is really slow, too.
I will test and share with the community my results.

If it's slow with Confluence then I'd say it's about time to upgrade that machine.

Did you try to turn off animations? Try. With pm3.hd

Yoda is probably right, but I love the laptop, and bought it for 50E, 3rd hand Wink So I'll stick with it. Even playback of better quality video stutters, so I manually managed to set lower 16:9 resolution. Confluence works fine for me on this resolution, I love it, so i'll stick with it for now.
PM3 really works faster for slower machines Smile
@pecinko - love your avatarSmile
Thank everyone for the help, most of the time my questions(in other forums) are left unanswered Sad
