[REQUEST] Who will help me with a "Dharma" version? - igotdvds - 2011-05-11
I need someone to tell me what features do not work in Dharma. I will then remove those features and make it Dharma compatible and upload to a different GIT for the repo.
Can someone help me with this?

the only feature currently not working in dharma 10.1 is backgrounds on the various home screens. its driving me nuts.

Acer Revo - XBMCLive Official 10.1 (Dharma) using GIT Simplicity.
Recently added on home screen
Watched icons on tv shows
Watched icons on movies (although cannot get these to show on dharma either)
Havnt tried newest version but assume random items?
When i get chance to download new GIT i'll update my list. I am happy to test new dharma release to check functions.

I don't know if this helps, but on my ATV2 with the last official release (Dharma), the following doesn't work:
Recently Added TV/Movies on top level
The Media totals on HOME
Watched icons (unreliable)
Backgrounds on top level
Logos in TV Guide and TV section
TV Tunes
However I just turn off these in skin settings, and enjoy a very fast, and coherent interface, which works great on the tiny little hockey puck.

When you guys say "Dharma Version", are you referring to the version you got from the official repo?
If so, have you tried downloading the GIT verison and using it on a Dharma install?
Thats what I'm looking for, I'm looking for the problems that the most recent version (GIT) has on a Dharma install.

Comments:
Entering Movies / TV shows now has a more noticable delay than Addon repo version of skin. Movies more so than TV shows. Seems to have slowed down?
