Hi,

They are in the xmbc roaming user profile, addons, cirrus skin folder under a folder called 720p.

Hope that helps,
Pat~

Hi Pat,

I've found the home.xml and changed it the way you've described.
It worked like a charm! Thank you! Smile
But there is no system.xml in that same folder (720p).
There is a settings.xml however. Maybe that's it? Confused

Will these changes be overwritten by a skin update?

Again, thank you!

Yea that's the one.
Changing them to 1 will remove that dim effect and will allow the transitions to complete faster, it both looks and feels far more responsive.

I think settings was set to 600, just drop it 1 and your good to go Nod

No worries,
Your very welcome.
Pat~

It's under:
Code:
<fadetime>600</fadetime>
Change to
Code:
<fadetime>1</fadetime>

It is possible that they may be over written at some point, if those particular files are ever updated in the future... However, As its only 1 line of text to edit, just keep a text file with any custom edits in it and amend it as and when is necessary Smile

So i can delete Extrafanart Downloader and Logo-Downloader and install only Artwork Downloader and if i choos Download in Skin settings it will download all ?
Or do i have to do something after install before first use ?

Edit:
If i use "Starte Logo Downloader Script" in "Skin-Option - Extended Mod" nothing happens
so how can i use the new Artwork Downloader ?

Hi mate, not yet, bulk mode will be added this evening, for now it's only in solo mode, accessing via video info screen "i".
Be patient and logo downloader will be replaced by artwork downloader.

Ok, sorry for posting crap! There is no need for a bulk mode as you can start the addon directly Smile removed logo downloader.

LOL Big Grin

EDIT:
You can add bulk mode for let's say only 'logos' or 'cleartart' or whatever. But like you sais. They can just set the add-on settings on what they want and hit ENTER

I'm sure this has already been asked and answered, but I don't see it, so my apologies.

I do love this skin for XBMC, it feels like a great step forward and I can't see myself changing from it. However the backgrounds are not to my taste and I was looking at changing them. Ironically the backgrounds that the skin menu thinks are being used are much more to my liking.

At the moment it shows a (at least I think) a bike from Tron for Movies, and a girl with headphones on Music, a gladiator for TV and a pile of CDs with a Dark Knight cover for videos.

However the skin menu shows different images - much simpler graphics rather than pictures.

Have I inadvertently enabled alternative images, and can I switch it back or am I missing something else... ?

you can change the backgrounds to every image u want. You just need to finde it somewhere online and save it at your HTPC. Than go to Settings -> Skin -> Backgrounds and change the current one to your new one.
You can finde a lot of different Background pictures in this and other forums https://www.dropbox.com/gallery/42866609/1/Cirrus_E_v2_backgrounds?h=9db18c or by using Google picture search.
I think the pictures u are looking for are in one background package too but i was not able to finde it at the moment.
