I've found the original imdb logo (google search) and it looks pretty nice.
About Trailer Flag:
Maybe i'm just going to set a label "Trailer" and no logo ... i think it will look cleaner ...

Now about rating flags ... what i can do is to integrate an option to choose 2 sets of rating flags ... keep the originals and option to choose the 2nd set ® (PG-13) and so on ...

Yea, These ideas all sound perfect.

A trailer label will look cleaner and sleeker than a logo, i totally agree Nod

The imdb logo (to replace the stars and the current "rating" label) is also very neat as its regognisable to the world and again very sleek.

An option to select a second set of small ratings flags will also look beautiful, as currently they (for me) are just to big and messy and the "R" rating one can hardly be read anyway in 1080p from 10ft away. Simple [PG-13] [R] etc is a cleaner more visible flag imo.

I will ammend those lines in the home screen as i am not a fan of that flash lol my pc is quite slow (revo) and that flash can end up like a 1 to 2 second delay on a black screen followed by a big slap in the face Laugh

i will comment them out instead of deleting incase i get a faster machine Wink

@el-P
For your first skining option you have done a fantastic job! its beautiful! I have the bug now and i genuinly love this skin and its features and all that butcha has done, and i too want to try and give something back. At the moment i bring ideas, feedback, bug reports and enjoy testing the skin etc, but id like to try and help butcha out a bit as he has done sooooo much that sometimes i feel bad when i ask for a feature as i know he has loads to do Blush

Ill not be able to do much, but im going to get my head into it and hopefully my first option will be as sweet as yours.

P.s
Yea, Edinburgh is a stunning place, it's one of the most incredible cities on earth!
There are very few places like it in the world, it is just bursting at the seams with culture, festivities, history and beauty.

The people are wonderful, the views are incredible and the smell... Mmmm. It has such a beautiful sweet smell in the air from the hopps being brewed (Auld Reekie) and its just amazing!

You should get up for the festival as we ususally try to head to the festival over the summer months, so if you do, ill buy you that beer i promised you Big Grin

Given that you asked Butcha about the animation, why don't you have at playing with that first - even it's something like just changing the timings.

Or have a look for the Weather fanart code (should be flagged with my name in Home.xml) and change the time between images (currently 30 seconds).

Yea, i'm actually messing with the timings on the home screen now. I was not a fan of the "pop" so have been tweaking it to see what it looks like even faster and completly removed. i'l try some other options from the guide as well Nod

I'll check the weather fanart stuff too and have a look at the code, i've still not seen the option to add or enable the weather fanart though? Is it in the skin settings? Ive gone through my options and cant see if anywhere?

Cheers for the link, i'll have a play around and as soon as i get to know my way around ill make a step toward making some of the changes my self and see how they look Big Grin

Cheers guys.

I don't know where it is in the latest version as I haven't installed it Wink

However, when I sent the mods to Butcha, I put the option to enable weather fanart beneath the music artist fanart option in the settings screen. Then, when you'd enabled the weather fanart, there was a new option to select the location of the fanart.

Again, to all there ... just some steps to show how i made it:

1. Switch to confluence skin, exit xbmc
2. Delete skin.cirrus extended v2
3. Download, unpack and put it in xbmc\addons
4. Start xbmc, go to appearance and switch to skin cirrus extended v2

This way you should have every added setting !

Why that ? Because of the changes and version number in addon.xml, i just assume the guisettings are set to (example) 2.02 now the skin is on status 2.03 ... so there are conflicts and the new options won't show. If you switch to another skin, and then to cirrus extended v2 (2.03) the guisettings are refreshed with the 2.03 ...

Hope it's clear enough ...

Now a question:

Did someone updated the skin via repo ?

Same for me at first. You have to disable the custom background on music visualisation screen and then the option for weather fanart appears. Don't know if it's normal... after that if you enable the custom background, the weather fanart option disapears but the path of the weather pack is still in the listRofl

Hi there,

FYI
Update via repo worked flawless here and with manually updated german strings it looks great so far.
