On the topic of fading vs sliding, I think it would look better if the tab containing the star rating would slide down from behind the center strip instead of fading.

Sorted. The old method is back! Also fixed a bug with the animation not repeating. This was happening when you left the song section and returned to the album section, then went back to the song section.

Will be included in the next alpha update.

ok tested this out today, a few bugs to report.

[Library Updating Notice]
The library updating notice is overlayed when playing a video.

when the plot scrolls it scrolls just under the main title. maybe it needs a gap?

[TV Episode Screencaps]
the episode screencaps (fanart?) is inconsistent and is all over the place. needs to be centered with the episode list.
