Dual Boot Live And Myth With Win7 - SikeMo - 2011-06-01 Hi Folks, Just bought a new SSD and was wondering if it is possible to dual boot XBMC Live with Win7 while running a MythTV backend in Live. If so, how should I partition the drive? How much space should I leave for Live? If it's not possible to use live in conjunction with Myth, I would install Ubuntu and XBMC with Myth. I am planning on using the new HDHomeRun Prime when it is released next month and I would like to record and watch live TV in XBMC. It looks like Linux is the only way to do so now. Still need to have Win7x64 installed though. Thanks... - dteirney - 2011-06-21 I'd start by getting Myth installed and working. MythTV is way more complicated to get installed setup and running than XBMC. Consider starting with a Mythbuntu distro if the main reason for going for Linux is MythTV. |
