[Linux] Odd scraping issues - moshpit - 2011-06-06 Hey there, I have the follwoing issue with my setup: Ubuntu 10.10 | xbmc-standalone | Synology NAS I've added my TV folder on my NAS via SMB(user and password) into the sources.xml. XBMC finds the folder, and playback works just fine. But if I rescan the the source or try to download additional "Thumbs" it throws errors like: Code: ERROR: Texture manager unable to load file: special://masterprofile/Thumbnails/5/5eb1fd08.jpg Permissions are set correctly. Already tried to set the thumbnail folder to "777"... but no luck :-( Any ideas? - nicob - 2011-06-11 Same here! I've been looking the past 2 days to solve this, since xbmc crashes every time I try to scan.... but I keep getting: Quote:12:30:55 T:2897308528 M:3432660992 DEBUG: OpenDir - Using authentication url smb://media:thisisnotmypassword@FS1/video/Series/Root%20of%20All%20EvilOn ubuntu 11.04 (kernel 3.0-rc2), mesa build from git, with a synology nas... (although the home/xbmc is on a local ssd) I have tried to solve it my: * using the latest builds (just the xbmc/XBMC git repository) with ( --prefix=/usr --enable-vaapi --enable-libbluray) * Deleted the xbmc_music and xbmc_video databases and emptied the Thumbnail directory... * renamed the .xbmc directory and build config from scratch... Nothing helps... |
