time taken to load timeline screen - xxxnelly - 2011-06-19

I have a extract from the log, it takes around 2000 ms.

I am running this on a revo 3700, and the backend is tvheadend (on a server)

Hi Again,

I have being some more research into this, basically looking at the performance of my Acer Revo3700 - as I might buy something quicker Smile

I have two systems running XBMC, the Acer Revo 3700 and a Dell latitude E6420.

I am seeing the performance of loading the timeline in the Revo to much much higher, around 4-5 times. I understand that the revo is an atom processor so would be slower but not by that much...

As you can see from the previous post I have reduced the time fromm 2 seconds down to 1 on the revo by reducing the number of channel I have,

I see the same thing, you can reduce the time taken to load by going into livetv settings and change the epg days to 1.
