Windows 7 - Power options - Kaitlyn2004 - 2011-07-10
Running my HTPC off Win x64. Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on power management?
I think the default is "balanced". Do most of you leave this as is, make some changes or do you switch to the "Maximum Performance"?
My CPU is the Pentium E5700

i beleive im at "balanced" too,,,
i havent played with that since all works great

I'm also running Win7x64 (Ultimate, Intel I3) I have my power options set to high performance.
I also turned off windows screen saver & turn monitor off after:
Everything else I left as standard.
