How Might I Add Video Thumbnails? - Odysseus - 2011-07-12
I've tried the ffmpeg method, and while I was able to successfully generate .tbn files they do not appear with the recordings. I've also tried .jpgs and .pngs. Before I continue to try any other methods, is this just not possible yet? Thank you very much for any assistance.

If your records named like the original movie(s) there is a simple solution. Add your record folder as a video source to xbmc and let the scrapers work for you. All recordings will appear inside of the video-part with thumbs, fanart, posters etc...

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, many of the programs in my library are not added to scrapers sites. We watch a lot of home improvement shows for instance, that are almost never available. Scrapers work great for dramas, comedies and tv movies or miniseries but outside of these, or other shows, news programs for one, they aren't much help, not in my experience anyway.
