new i3 HTPC build - Matryx - 2011-07-14
Looking to build a HTPC with an i3. NCIX has grand opening sale and the MINI-BOX M350 got reduced to $34.99 and I would like to pick it up and build a htpc. I already have a 2.5 500GB WD I'm going to use with this.

edit: Some would probably recommend the Sapphire Pure White Fusion E350 $109.99. This would save me a bit of money. Just realize I should just avoid the i3 and build that one I really need it for Diablo 3. I'll just get a low powered htpc for now. Any recommendation for something that doesn't generate too much heat and can play 1080p movies with a heavy XBMC skin like Aeon MQ2

Fusion E350 platform is reported working OK with AEON MQ2...
Not lightning fast menu transitions but acceptable,,,
i think you should be fine with it..
