bean_ian Wrote:What version of SAB are you on? Do you have your API Key enabled? According to the error logs(you on an Incredible 2?) you have it disabled and it is expecting a username/password. Leave you username/password on but just enable the API Key
Thank you for your reply. I'm using just the Incredible, not the 2. I don't think it was sending you logs because I just left the IP completely blank and that is the first time I got a notice that logs are being sent. Yes API is enabled, I tried manually typing it into the app also. I'm also using the latest SAB, 0.6.5

Zoggy I'll give your suggestions a go, thank you

Still didn't work with Zoggy's suggestions. I just tried SABControl and got the same results.

Gots to be something in between the app and SAB itself. Ruled out the firewall and AV. I know the API works fine because Sickbeard, Couch Potato and XBMC all use it. The XBMC Remote app works fine which is a similar set up. I never get stumped this bad

Zoggy you're the man. I think I misunderstood you the first time around, I reconfigured SABnzbd itself to 0.0.0.0 and that did the trick. Thank you, it was driving me insane

Umm guys.. how do I open the settings? I get the feeling that I'm too dumb to open it.

Tested it on my Desire HD and on a buddy's Desire Z and when I press this button in the top right corner nothing happens.
Is this the settings button? Huh

bean, do you have any need to use the scene exceptions info? we added it to the api today.. figured you add note/info to show if stuff was found for the tvdbid

Any news or plans for Reverse Proxies accessing apps via subdirectories as opposed to ports?

Cant see a need for it at the moment. Any idea when the API branch will be merged into the master build?

api branch is still quite in dev but i've done a bit of work tonight and it's almost ready to start testing the 'getter' functions. the 'setter' functions is going to be killer. but i created an api-builder ajax page to go with the api subset so devs can quickly check out some of the different functions and optional arguments. i'm hoping to have the the branch ready sometime next week for testing.

Is this hard to do? It's just the reverse proxies are more secure than having multiple ports open on your router (if running externally)

So why doesn't it work on both of the phones in our household?
Does the phone have to be rooted or something?

I can't imagine any reason why it shouldn't work, the touchscreen is ok because the button actually turns orange but nothing more happens. No

Hi Ya

Great App and well done for making it.

I have one issue with the search in CouchPotato in that it doesn't find any results but SickBeard does. Any idea's?

- thezoggy - 2011-08-01

made more progress on the api stuff today, here is some sample output: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=dGPYWKsX

not 100% sure what is causing this, strange that it happens on both phones. I'll include you in the beta testers for 0.4 that should be released this week. Hopefully the UI changes I made will fix this

Who is getting the beta testers app? I would like to get it and provide feedback aswell. Thanks

Hey Bean,

What a superb app u made!!! Big thumbs up Cool
Got it running on a Samsung GS2 and a HTC Desire S.

It's also nice to see the collaboration with zoggy for the api work.
Everyone here should buy you lads some nice belgian beers Big Grin

I'll test the app by using it daily and spreading the word. Also if you need a hand with the design for the app i'll gladly help. I have some previous experience in designing webinterfaces and usability in general.

Hope i can help and keep up the good work
