You enter it in the ipaddress field in MediaDog.

I am new to port forwarding and got stuck. It gives me the option to enter: specify public ip address, local host, specify network ip address, protocols, forward to port, schedule.

Obviously under 'forward to port' I put 8080 which is SAB's port right? Schedule is set to 'always'. I'm stuck on Protocols. There are many to choose from like 'http, https, ping, imap, pop3' etc. I don't which to use and what settings it will need. As for the ip address area, I am not sure what exactly to put under local host. From what I can see, all the other port forwarding setups are only using a local host ip and they left the other two blank. I don't know if it's the same way with this?

Big fan here.

Just wondering what the chances of getting Headphones support.

Thanks!

Headphones would be very nice. Its rather fleshed out now as well.

Hoping to start development on this shortly. I use it all the time myself so it's high on my priority list!

pmow Wrote:I also noticed that Sickbeard shows get added with Season Folders regardless of the Sickbeard default setting. It's really frustrating because I then have to go back in and re-flatten my files and rescan the dirs. Is there any way a solution can be accepted?

bean_ian Wrote:Yes i'll have to change it to respect the default or let the user pick each time they are adding a show. good spot

This was before 0.50, but I see it still is adding season folders. Any idea if this can be fixed? I'd be willing to put any apk on here =)

Thanks much!

FEATURE SUGGESTION

How about an option to display an episode's plot next to the pop-up menu when selecting an episode under sickbeard.

thanks for the app!

is there a guide somewhere on this whole port forwarding thing?
do i need a static IP address on my internet for it to work?
thanks

- spyvingen - 2011-10-12

As stated a couple of times in this threed the guide for port farwards is http://portforward.com/ and u dont need static ip but it would make it simpler if you had otherwise you have to know the new ipadress all the time or register for a dyn dns like noip.com

- bentglasstube - 2011-10-12

I have sickbeard running under a different root path than / so mediadog unfortunately doesn't work well with it.

Is there any way you could add advanced options for non-standard setups?

very cool app. Ive been looking for something like this. Couple of suggestions though. it would be nice to have https support, also when scrolling from one page to the nest it could be a little quicker. and one more thing, on my tablet the banners are super distorted, maybe there could be a list view or poster view? Just my 2 cents...great app though!

For me no https support is the reason I returned the application.

I published al these services through a reverse proxy to the internet with a sub domain, like: https://couchpotato.mydomain.com

If this would work, I definately would buy they application!

Quick request if that's OK?

Would you be able to add a button (in the CP section) that takes you to the movies IMDB page (either the net, or the app if installed) when clicked?

That'd be great if possible Smile

Thanks
