I've tried that more than once, still same.

Will try the latest version now.

Bean, thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I've encountered a few bugs with the past 2 versions with the Xoom (v1) tablet.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

v0.80 does not have the option to add a server. It's there if you upgrade from v0.7.3 with one already existing but to add a new one, there is no plus sign at the top right or a flag at the bottom.

v0.81 has the plus sign and I am able to do an advanced server setup and it's properly grabbing the API keys but the settings are not being saved. Only the instance name but everything is blank or has been cleared every time I go back into it.

(oddly, the settings are still saved but they don't show up even though I can still access sab and heaphones. Sick asks for API key though and so CP needs edited but changes won't save?)

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Not sure if this bug is specific to the Xoom tablet or something else I may have tweaked on my device. So far, v0.7.3 seems to be the most stable for minus the exception for of CP V2 working. Thanks for your hard coding work!

I'm loving the android community right now and this application is superior over qouch app I have been testing. Headphones and CP V2 support, take that crapple! CANNOT WAIT TO DITCH THE iPhone, so tired of Apple BS trying to stop from doing what i want with my device with useless software updates.

edit : sorry for all the edits, I suck at forums!!

edit : since I have to edit the configs for SB, CP and headphones for apache access, is there an way easy way to jump back and forth for in network and out of network access to these programs? The only way I know is to remove the webroot URL from the configs to work with the app. (SOLVED, I'm a a doofus, I just had to use same settings that i use for the browser from the PC, the key was to use the ADVANCED setup, woops!)

last edit (I swear) : Ok, v0.8.1 is working for all 4 but the major bug is that the server settings are being saved, however when you go back and try to re-edit the server, no information appears. It's like getting one shot at the setup and then if you have to back and edit, all information needs re-added if that makes any sense.

I'm not seeing all my Wanted films on the CouchPotato screen using V2. I have tried refreshing but no difference. Tried on the tablet running ICS and same problem.

Anyone else having the same issue?

This is the same issue that I posted. I upgraded from v0.7.3. The settings work but you cannot edit them further. The server settings shows up blank and makes you go through the full setup and save. I've a Samsung Galaxy S3 running a custom Rom if that makes any difference.

+1 on the server issue. Simple host seems to work fine, but advanced doesn't.

RE: MediaDog 0.8.2(21/07)-Couchpotato(V1&V2),Sickbeard,Headphones,Sabnzbd - bean_ian - 2012-07-21

0.8.2 released with a fix for the advanced server settings issue.
Can some confirm if this resolves the issue for them?

RE: MediaDog 0.8.2(21/07)-Couchpotato(V1&V2),Sickbeard,Headphones,Sabnzbd - mrjibjab - 2012-07-21

The fix worked for me. Good job, thanks for the quick fix. Running CM7 on a Optimus V. Settings defaulted to hi res pics for Sickbeard, then it changed the setting back to normal. Now I can't see the name of the series if there is no banner available (got 2 banners out of 6 series set up in sickbeard). I really like this app!

RE: MediaDog 0.8.2(21/07)-Couchpotato(V1&V2),Sickbeard,Headphones,Sabnzbd - peppi - 2012-07-21

I'm on version 0.8.2 but i can't see my CP v2 wanted list. Download list i can see. I've deleted the app and re-installed it but the problem keeps coming. also i need to fill in the API key for CP by hand instead of that mediadog grabs it from my CP installaltion.

That fixes the issue, working perfect now

Now that the app is integration with IMDB how about the ability to click from a movie in Couchpotato to the movie IMDB page?

RE: MediaDog 0.8.2(21/07)-Couchpotato(V1&V2),Sickbeard,Headphones,Sabnzbd - slashr - 2012-07-23

Hello there, many thanks for this great utility.

(This also happens with http://192.168.1.x/movies), so it's not just an apache2 or ssl issue, seems to be due to something with the webroot option.

Due to not wanting my stuff to be sniffed i have setup up apache with ssl and virtual hosts.

There seems to be an issue with couchpotato though, maybe it's because i had to setup a webroot for it?

It retrieves the api key fine but only if it's like mydomain.com/movies , doesn't on mydomain.com/movies/ (i set couchpotato webroot = movies)

Anyway after adding it like that mediadog will crash forever until i delete the mediadog folder.

Then i can access the interface but the already added stuff on the wanted category won't have pictures and if i search for something like peekaboo and add it, and then search for cows it will still display the peekabo search results.

I will edit in the logs in a bit , hopefully it's possible to fix this, i'm not sure if headphones will have the same problem since been focusing on couchpotato right now, but headphones also relies on webroot.

This is with advanced server option of course.

Thanks

Couchpotato V1 is weird, the webroot isn't working quite right. I found that I had to strip the webroot from the URL when passing through a proxy, www.mydomain.com/couchpotato would come out of the reverse proxy as 192.168.1.***:5000 NOT 192.168.1.***:5000/couchpotato Hope this makes sense. Couchpotato V2 doesn't have this problem.Headphones, Sab, SickBeard don't have this problem.

Mike

Sorry i forgot to write it, it's v2 (couchpotatoserver)

Mediadog wise i'm using 8.2

Now i'm even just trying to access 192.x directly to rule out ssl rewriterules problems etc and still the same thing, movies i have show fine, movies in the wanted have no picture and clicking in the options sometimes nothing happens others something appears to happen, and if i search for cookies and add cookies and then search for soup after the cookies ain't having none of that and won't display the soup

host = 192.168.1.x
url_base = movies
debug = 0
launch_browser = 0

Does it look ok? i tried /movies/ and but just get a blue screen, /movies seems to to display the pages fine but with the same effects of mediadog not working 100% with it

I uninstalled mediadog and deleted everything and changed the config file of couchpotato to not using a webroot and just added 192.168.1.x:5050 and i get nonstop crashing, going to try 8.0

That didn't help

Here is the couchpotato log warnings :

07-23 05:24:25 WARNING 404 GET /movies/api/apinumber/movie.list?status=done&limit_offset=50,0 (192.168.1.x) 100.26ms and all different kids of others for each thing it requests

Many times, the api is correct by the way, any idea? at this point just trying to see what's wrong and even with everything standard it's not being able to use v2 correctly (no images on wanted clicking it doesn't bring up options, repeats search etc), using latest git version of couchpotato server and mediadog 0.8.2

RE: MediaDog 0.8.2(21/07)-Couchpotato(V1&V2),Sickbeard,Headphones,Sabnzbd - Headshrinker - 2012-07-23

I installed the 0.8.2 version of mediadog yesterday. over the wifi, eveything is ok. my tv shows appears correctly and I can access to downloads. but over 3g, sabnzbd is ok but sickbbeard makes crash the app.

any idea ?

edit : when I try to access sickbeard via opéra mini, i got 404 error

RE: MediaDog 0.8.2(21/07)-Couchpotato(V1&V2),Sickbeard,Headphones,Sabnzbd - slashr - 2012-07-24

Hopefully bean gets some time to see the couchpotato thing and the crashes, meanwhile i'm messing around trying anything to fix it hehe.

Well that's interesting , i cleared cache and instead of just adding couchpotato on the hosts i did every single one of them (sab headphones beard) and everything works fine now.

Let's see if i manage to keep it going smoothly now.

Quite an amazing app indeed.
