Which group Dell Zino 410 belongs? I plan to buy it, but I am still looking for options (such as ASRock, but too expensive). I have LG 3d TV (passive 3d).
I appreciate your input.
Thanks.

Honestly, Dell Zino's are so pricey, i didnt want to include them,,,

Zino 410 is a bad choice. Old hardware for the money.

I'm in group 3, minus the hulu thing. However, I differ with you about the best solution. For me, the best solution in group 3 is a ION machine, hands down no discussion. The ATV1 will never perform as well and as solid as any ION machine.

To me, the use of an ATV1 can only be justificated because of 2 factors: it's very cheap (2nd hand) and/or you already had it.

But in my opinion, group 3 best served by is a ION machine too, as in group 4. Actually, I'd made group 3 and 4 just one group, and the apple tv 1 a .1 Tongue

I am wondering why these particular video cards are the only video cards out there that support the 3d sbs modes we need?

What technically is limiting the on-board video from doing this? The answer will help me choose my hardware better, so thank you Smile

Thank you eskro for your wonderful post. This thread has summarised perfectly the needs for different groups of users.

I am looking to build an HTPC and i'm very new at this and need your advice. I should be under group 6 as i have a 5.1 HT system set-up already playing on BD player.

However on your other post, u noted that currently xbmc cant bitstream HD audio yet? It is very important for me that the HD audio gets to my AVR to decode so that i'll enjoy the 5.1 surround. What can I do?

- eskro - 2011-09-28

you wont have issue with 5.1 DolbyDigital or DTS,,,

HD-Audio i meant --> 7.1 DolbyTrue-HD and DTS-HD Master..
