Enjoy ! Smile

Is there a standalone installer? Just the app?

I already have Qt 4.7.3 installed. When loading the file, I'm getting "app is installed. update?" messages and errors and I suspect it has something to do with the installer checking for dependencies.

Just uploaded the SIS with the app only.

Besides Qt 4.7.3, you'll also need the Qt Quick components for Symbian.
I'm not sure whether they are downloadable without the Qt SDK, so I added the to the file section, too.

Thanks.

I reinstalled all the Qt dependencies just in case and tried the standalone installer.

App installed just fine now but is not loading, it just closes itself. Is there any debug file I can look at? (or any other dependencies I dont know about? I installed both Qt 4.7.3 and Qt Mobility 1.1.3)

Did you try after restarting your phone? I already noticed upgrading Qt often leads to Qt apps not starting anymore....

- paendorz - 2011-07-22

Just did. Same result. Sad

Do you have a "semperXbmc.fat" file in "c:"? If so, retry after deleting it, please .

I don't.

It is actually "semperXbmcThumbs.fat", but I suppose you would have noticed...

What device are you using?

Koying Wrote:What device are you using?

A Nokia 5233.

Sorry, the 5233 is a Symbian^1 (aka S60v5) device.
You'll have to wait for Nokia to release the Qt Quick components for Symbian^1 to use semperXbmc (I'll then compile and test a Symbian^1 specific version, I own a 5800).

Updated to 0.9.3 with experimental Symbian^1 / S60V5 support...

Thanks for a great application.

For some reason I don't see the four middle icons at the top. I only see the settings icon and the exit icon.

EDIT: I'm on a Nokia N8 (Symbian ^3).
