Is there any Plugin for Android?

Do you know any reliable online stream for it? Let me know if you do and the rest should be easy.

Enjoy!

The old version won't work anymore... that's for sure.

They've made changes that broke the plugin, I've fixed it twice already but I wouldn't be surprised if they've broken it again.

I'll have a look as soon as I get a chance

RE: [RELEASE] GLWiZ.com add-on - bbk79 - 2012-07-27

The latest version (0.0.7) works fine for me... I'm using iOS 5 but I really don't think that should make any difference.

Perhaps you can send me the XBMC log?

RE: [RELEASE] GLWiZ.com add-on - mtux - 2012-08-22

Hi Babak,
And thanks for your great work,

Unfortunately with latest version I can only hear channels sound! and there's no video at all. (I'm a new user of xbmc and didn't use it or your plugin before)
even I registered in their website, and provided my information.

PS: I'm using XBMC on Raspberry Pi via raspbmc.

Babak jan,

Damet garm! You did a great job with this plug-in! I have no idea how you did it. Every stream I've ever found has used SilverLight, which I can't otherwise view on Ubuntu.

Is there any chance you can get PMC Music and PMC Family added? These are probably the two most popular channels among my friends and family.

Here's a link to a PMC Music feed: http://www.jahantv.com/Persian/Iran/Iranian/OnLine/Live/Streaming/TVs/pmc-TV.html

That seems to be a known raspbmc issue, apparently MPEG2 is currently not supported.

Thanks for the kind words, well XBMC does it all really... I just pass the MMS URLs to it.

Have you tried Moonlight in Ubuntu? It works fine from what I've heard.

I'll have a look into those streams when I get a chance.

You really don't need a plugin for these, adding the stream URLs (not the ones above) to something like LiveStreams plugin's XML should do the trick...

I'll take a look and give it a shot. As a side note, can you or anyone else comment on the quality of the GLWIZ streams on a paid account? They state that you'll get a 750Kbps connection, but I don't know if that's a consistent connection rate or max. Thanks again!

RE: [RELEASE] GLWiZ.com add-on - thaprinze - 2012-08-31

Babak jan,

Here's what I found. I was able to discover the stream URL for PMC Music, which is mms://213.80.127.1/C7_l. I saved this into a text file and named it "PMC_Music.strm" and added it to my list of files under Video in XBMC. I can now watch PMC Music when I select this file.

PMC Family, however, is a completely different story. I have spent the entire day trying to track down the stream's URL and have been unsuccessfull. All streams appear to go through jahantv.com, and they've setup some sort of a clever method of forwarding users to the correct stream internally. Anytime you connect to a PMC Family stream outside of the jahantv.com website, you will be taken to a short 15 second video announcing that the stream originates on jahantv.com. Once this initial video is done, the user gets taken to the PMC Family stream.

I tried to capture the stream information using several different tools, but none of them provided much value. For example, I ran curl on Http://ASX.JahanTV.Com/PMC-Fam-Live.ASX to get the ASX file below.

Http://ASX.JahanTV.Com/PMC-Fam-Live.ASX pid='' dateline=' Wrote:<ASX Version="3.0">

<REF HREF="MMS://Stream642.JahanTV.Com/PMC-Fam-Live-2"/>

<REF HREF="MMS://Stream642.JahanTV.Com/PMC-Fam-Live"/>

<REF HREF="MMS://Stream643.JahanTV.Com/PMC-Fam-Live"/>

<REF HREF="PMC-Fam-Live.ASX"/>

If you try to play any of those MMS files directly via VLC, it'll start to stream the jahantv intro, then the stream will end.

I tried creating a .strm file with the MMS links above and that didn't play in XBMC either. I was also able to capture a lot of traffic using Wireshark, but this post is already running long, so I won't post it here. Just let me know if you'd like me to post it (assuming you're even interested in getting PMC Family working. Big Grin )

PS: As I said before, I have spent a considerable amount of time trying to get this working and have been largely unsuccessful. Any help you can give me would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!!

Looks like now you can purchase a license:
