Media Master Server is a bit touchy, so it could be that space in the username.
Also, I echo pecinko's recommendation of trying AFP. Not sure why I didn't think to suggest that before.

Because it is buggy/crashing for felt 20% of the users?

Better than Media Master Server, though. Not sure if I ever had MMS just crash on me, but it's acted weird before, and it's one more process to run. Plus only a single share point with it.

I'm having the same issue. Cannot connect to network. I don't understand why at all.

There's almost 100 posts in this thread, so you might need to specify which "same issue" you are having. What exactly have you tried?

Having the freezing issue here. Seems to run fine for 20 minutes or so then the number of connections starts going crazy and will freeze Finder shortly thereafter. Did you ever hear anything back from ModernDigial regarding this?

Hi All, I know this an old thread but I have read forums and sites till my eyes bleed and I cannot find a solution to my problem.
I'm running Lion on a macbook pro and trying to get XBMC to see my files via my apple tv 2.
I've tried everything including SMBup & Webdav and Mediamaster server, and everytime I try to connect I get the message 'cannot connect to network server'.
I can use vimeo and all the sites through itunes as well as play itunes content so I don't think it's my wifi unless there is some setting in it I need to change.
I have tried something called 'Lion Tweaks' to set up my 'hidden ftp server' but thought I knew what I was doing but apparently not.
I also have XBMC working with my PC just fine.
Please help

Easiest thing I found was to purchase Playback for $15. Then you don't have to worry about anything
And you can use Playback for more than just that.

Try to get us a debug log of when you try to connect. (either use the debug add-on or check out the iOS debug log link at the bottom of that page.)
