Find a decent set that are licensed under Creative Commons and I'll be happy to. The vast majority are copyright of the mpaa or look like crap.

...would be nice if there was support for non-US rating icons as well - I'd like to use UK ones, for example. (Seems to be the same issue with rights, as the symbols are apparently trademarks of the BBFC, though...)

Yes, support for ratings would be very nice.
e.g. German Ratings:
Package with the most common ratings (for AU GER UK US) LINK
There are few repo-skins (nox, backrow, ...) which incorporates these, so I think that these are free to use.

There is no actual logo for either NR or UR.

also, the rating logos appear under the poster wrap view in the current Neon.
