A LIGHTWEIGHT AND POWERFUL SKIN

Want more speed?
You can choose now Lite mode, and improvement to the Compact mode, to anyone who wants a pretty and basic skin.

Do you need more customization?
Activate the Super mode; now you´ll be able to include up to 40 custom menus and 200 submenus, name and choose a backdrop for each one.

MOVIE SETS

Aeon MQ 3 supports the Movie Sets script and also Sets function present into XBMC beta 3.
Beyond that the Sets Mode is hybrid, using Showcase, Large Shelf List or you can have a mixed collection with singles movies or sets.

A SKIN FOR GAMES AS WELL

Aeon MQ 3 offers support for the Rom Collectin Browser and also Advanced Launcher script.

AEON MQ ABSTRACT

It's true that Aeon MQ 2 was a great success, but after several changes it became too bloated, then I decided to rewrite the skin completely.

It was madness, it took me almost 6 months until I could show the results. The last MQ2 build had 185 MB; MQ3 now has 62MB.

All the best aspects of Aeon MQ 2 were mantained, several things were improved and some new ones were incorporated, like skin customization, new styles, PVR support, new scripts and extra packs, offering a whole new level of customization.

At last, a new skin, slimmer, faster, prettier and more powerful than ever.


MAIN SKIN FUNCTIONS

- Customization Wizard: it helps with the skin pre-configuration, in a simple and explained way for any user.
- Lite, Normal, Pro and Super modes: simply choose what suits you better. Now the customization power of the main menu is usable in every mode.
- You can have up to 40 new menus and 200 submenus in all modes.
- PVR support.
- Rom Collection Browser, Advanced Launcher, programs, games and comics.


IMPROVEMENTS ON CUSTOMIZATION

- Different script types support.
- Different submenu background support.
- Unification of shortcuts and backgrounds, now customization is simple and more complete, with just two clicks you can restore all definitions to a buttom individually.


NEW STYLES

- Besides the already known Classic, Horizonz and Darkness, now we have Amber and Metal, different styles for different tastes.


NEW SUPPORTED SCRIPTS

- Movie Sets.
- Watch list.
- Artist Slideshow, which displays artist images during playback.
- Artwork Organizer for Eden users. Now it's possible to have random fanart for music and music videos.
- Video Fanart Splitter for Dharma users.
- ExtraFanart Downloader for Dharma users.
- Artwork Downloader for Eden users.
- Random Items, which changes the way that Multifunction and Reminders items are displyed.
- Support for other scripts has been maintained - cdART Manager, Cinema Experience, Logo Downloader, TV Show - Next Aired, TvTunes, Weather Plus.

EXTRA PACKS

They are backdrop or icon packs. Simply download the pack from my site to use them. You can also create your own packs and share them with other users.


IMAGE THEMES

Now it's possible to use image and texture themes independently. You can easily change all backdrops at once using a theme preset or creating your own.

Available themes are: Cold, Warm, Digital Art and Darkness.


HOW TO INSTALL THE SKIN

- Download the skin repository and install it in 'Add-ons' > Install via ZIP file.

- Choose 'Obtain Add-ons' then select 'Aeon MQ 3 Repo' > Install.


After downloading the file it's normal for the screen to stay black for a few seconds. If any error occurs simply reinstall using another skin, like Confluence.



HOW TO REPORT A BUG OR MAKE A REQUEST

Anyone who has a request or bug report use the button below - after click in new issue - and wait.

AEON MQ 3 - ISSUE

Updated - New rules:

High priority - Donators or Bug/Request involving several people.
- donators, please post your nickname and also an indication that you is donator in the description of the issue.
I can not remember all users, sorry.
Medium priority - Good ideas that could really bring new things into the skin.
Low priority - Bug/Request for a single person.
Very Low priority - Flood requests, sarcastic comment or messages that offend me or any other user.
- I will consider how flood when there is more than 10 different issues created by the same user.
- In case of insistence, the issue will be deleted permanently.

What am I doing wrong, because I cant see one menu entry just the background and the main menu graphics. If I try to enter the setting menu the screen is getting black...

But the skin itself is empty for me -.- no graphics, just a bit text Sad

The repo work fine here, but remember this is skin only for XBMC EDEN (11)...
