Thanks, I've solved it. It was a bit tricky, you need to Set a folder as Favourite, then go to edit favourites.xml removing the quotes and finally go to the Custom Menu options to assign the Favourite to the Menu.

I figured this out. It seems that I turned on the Fan Art for "Movie Item" and TV and Music. It couldn't find the Fanart apparently so it went blank. Turned that off and the default backdrops came right back. Then I selected my own multi-image folder in the settings and that started worked just fine too!
My XBMC is gorgeous!

Still working on list view for file mode. I can't get folder.jpg posters to work. Found out than in low list it does work by deselecting all other options in settings (use poster etc), but when switching to normal list it will then always show folder.jpg squished to a banner. Is there a way to make folder.jpg work for posters?
Also in list view when going to narrow list view I lose the checkmarks for files viewed, is that to be expected?

so i've got several movies, as well as several stand up comedy videos. In order to not have them show up in the same list, I've created two video playlists based on the directories that the video files are in.
due to this, I don't use the MOVIES menu item, but instead disable it, and use VPLAYLIST1 renamed to "movies", and VPLAYLIST2 renamed to "stand up".
Everything works properly except that by using VPLAYLIST1 instead of the MOVIES menu item, I lose the ability to view the "recently added" widget when VPLAYLIST1 is highlighted, or the "recently added" submenu that goes along with it.
Is there any way to add the "recently added" widget & submenu to a VPLAYLIST1 menu item?

This is the theme I've been looking for. I like the Aeon Nox theme, but I prefer the movie OSD in this theme. Easy to customize too.

Any ideas what has caused my skin to start showing options and side menus with no darker menu background, like this?
As far as I know I haven't enforced any changes. It is also making things like scrolling through video files difficult as I don't know clearly which one is highlighted. Not sure if a debug log will help here, but if you think it would I'll post one right away.

Quick question about this awsome skin:
I have my movie filenames set up with ****.dvd.mkv or ****.bluray.mkv, so MQ3 displays the correct box cover in showcase and it displays whether the movie is a DVD or bluray on the skin "floor".
However, when I pause or press info, MQ3 displays codec info, eg H624, mpeg4 etc instead of DVD, bluray.
Is there any way to change this?
