MarcosQui - In the movies wall view, you have a fadelabel that alternatley displays the genre,year, duration and original title. Can you tell me where to find the code for that. I've looked through the xml's and Aeon's code is much different than others I've looked at. That along with me not being very good at skinning has made it impossible for me to find. I'd like to see how it's done so if you could point in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

I'm new to using XBMC, Loaded it on my ATV2 and its working great, love this MQ3 theme!.
For some reason after setting the views, for movies and tv shows, I'm unable to change them. for TV shows when I try to arrow to the left to bring up the menu that lets me change the view, I get the search menu instead. Then it freezes unless I hit the menu button to back out. I believe that TV Shows are currently set to 'low list' mode and I'm unable to change it. Is there something else I can do to reset the views?
For Movies, I'm not sure which view it is in, just has the covers on the bottom on the screen to cycle through. If I hit the down button twice the trailer starts (although I'm having some issues with them playing). I'm unable to change the view for that too.
The theme lags just a bit due to the ATV2 hardware but works really well, awesome work!

Hi,
First off, the MQ3 is even better than MQ2 skin! Awesome job. Love it.
However, still have the same annoying problem with customizing my own menus. I followed this tutorial http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=782 but I always get stuck later on. The new category in Home Menu DOESN"T WORK as expected. Here is what I did so far:
1. Home Menu > Videos > Playlists > New smart playlist > "Asian Cinema" along with the new rule ""Find Items where PATH IS H:/Asian Cinema/". I also updated library just in case.
2. Home Menu > Settings > Skin > Shortcuts > Vplaylist 1 > rename "Asian Cinema" > Add Video Playlist "Asian Cinema.xsp"
3. "Asian Cinema" is visible properly on home screen menu. But when I click on it
it shows "library empty" and "add content by selecting videos in home menu"
so I tried the following:
Home Menu > Videos > Files > Asian CInema > Scan for new content/change content
Home Menu > Videos > Playlists > Asian Cinema > Update Library
So far nothing helps and "Asian Cinema" category still doesn't work. I ran out of ideas. I must be doing something wrong but don't know WHAT. DO you guys have any thoughts what am I doing wrong?? I would appreciate any help or most of all step by step solution

As far as I'm aware, you cannot set a overall description of the set itself, however the individual movie will have it's info like any other film in the library.

Thanks Rygrath, have managed to set thumbnails for the main collection folder. Though the image is not properly displayed. Sems the size of the picture is too big. Do you know what the max size of the thumb can be?

Most "hi-quality" posters are 1000x1500. Each skin handles how to display them differently. Some scale the image, some stretch, some leave it as is. However, when getting them from themoviedb.org they're usually going to be 1000x1500 and should fit most skins just fine.

How i can view all files in my folder, not like library view.
Some time name of media file not correct and scraper don't recognize them.
in alsaka skin i can view all my source and all file in folder. And if scraper don't recognize name of media i manual input movie name and movie add to media library.
And how/where i can add,vew,change source folder in Mq3 ?

And litle request.
Make strings label for whole text in the skin, include default system text and lablel.
i can explain.
Becuase when i try localize this skin to russian language i nave a big headache with capital and non capital symbols and amount of TTF fonts.
In your skin label "View" look like "VIEW" because CAP ttf font used.
I think if rewrite all system label text in strings - localization be more easily, amount of used TTF decreased and i can control light of text label.
i can do this my self, but cant find how to rewrite some system string label in strings.xml.

Never had this problem with MQ2, any thought on what I'm doing wrong??

I'm using the latest nightly. I actually reset the skin and reloaded it and it seems fine now, definitely a little flukey.
Now I'm trying to battle the issue I have of the video for some of the files being delayed compared to the audio. It's like it quickly skips for a second and then the video is behind. I've tried all of the settings and nothing works. I know there is an audio offset setting, but I can't get it to be just right since it seems to speed up and slow down at times. I'm not sure this is an issue with the skin, but rather an issue with my ATV2 running wirelessly.
