jaydash Wrote:Cool... would it be easy to do something similar providing a work through to WMC's sports scores? If not, no big deal, just thought I'd ask... Still lovin' the Netflix work around. Thanks again!

OR does anyone know of an equally smooth/reliable sports score plugin for XBMC?

I had to do this a little different, tell me if you find any bugs, I tested it on english and danish language windows. So it should work.
Again scores.exe, scores.ini, and splash.jpg funtions the same way as the Netflix version.

Best regards tuxen.

Cleaned up all links in the thread, and started the web server.
Sorry for all the hazzle. But today was apparently NOT my day! (Read the first post.)

Best regards tuxen

Tuxen I got around to setting it up and I am getting an invalid win32 application error.

- tuxen - 2011-09-28

Hmm, although I tried it here on both win 32 and 64, I have a strong supision what it could be.
I uploaded a new version: http://81.161.149.87:8080/wmcmusic/ try that and comment back.

EDIT: I posted the wrong link first, it's of cause in the wmcmusic dir. I have fixed this post now.

Hi statious,
How did it go? I brought the music.exe to work today, and I've been testing it on like 10 different computers without errors, it brings you straight to music. So I assume it works for you to now?

@jaydash, About your request? Does it work as intended?
I can get it to point as something different than NHL as default if you want,
pherhabs using the .ini file for specifying this, if you wish so. :)

Hi Tuxen,

Apologies for not replying to your earlier threads, this is working great I think the bug I was having with the app not closing down was something to do with my media center remote as after a week or so it cleared itself up and hasn't occured since without having to change a thing!!

Working great in XBMC as well as Mediaportal so I am very happy!

Thanks for you work

James

Wow, thanks... I hope to have a chance to try it out in the next few days... I'll let you know. And, just by the way, NHL as default will be perfect for me!

THANKS!

Tuxen this is working perfectly! Huge thanks.

Looks like the problem was my Canadian account. I signed up for a US account, and no problems now. Very nice tuxen

- tuxen - 2011-09-29

@TerranQ, Thats very nice to hear, just like you thought, I had a feeling It might be something stupid.
Now to something embarrasing; You have not by any chance saved my guide to getting Netflix to work outside US?.. Heh. (crossing fingers)

The Netflix and Hulu guides I'll just redo at work, (shhh) and I'll write it so the whole process will be even easier.
But the outside US guide I really miss. If you don't have it anymore, it's very understandable though.

Best regards tuxen

- TerranQ - 2011-09-29

No, sorry, I didn't.

- tuxen - 2011-09-29

Just press the specified key in snetflix.ini and XBMC will return.
As it's the point of the script anyways I think not think much also because when I test I just run snetflix.exe and that does not produce that same error, the proper way is probably to check the window and kill the script if the WMC windows closes for any reason. Anther thing todo. Heh it started so simple. Might aswell finish it.
I'llntry making an update.. Heh.

Regards tuxen

Holy f... I found my guides, turns out I had a backup lying around some obscure place after all.
To celbrate this.. Heh. I wrote a new frontpage where all my little hacks and tweaks can be found.
And yes, as you can see I use whatever tool that's around and is easy to use!

Here it all is: http://81.161.149.87:8080/

If someone lives outside US and try my guide to get around it I would really like comments on it.
The right thing would probably start a thread on it, but I would like to polish it some more before that.

Btw. As usual check the first post..

Best regards tuxen

Glad you found your guides tuxen.

One thing I noticed with your netflix plugin. I've defined a key to exit it in the ini file, and if I run your exe directly, it works fine. However, if I run the exe from XBMC, it exits Netflix, but it doesn't quit your exe, and my XBMC remains minimized. Once I manually close your exe, my XBMC reappears. Any ideas on what my issue might be? Or have I totally confused you now? Laugh
