I'm also having the same problem, when i start a video it pauses after 2 secs and i have to manually press play, and then it runs fine to the end of the video. It's a bit of pain as it kinda stops the flow of the brilliant build custom playlist function.

junkiepilot: Try the new version. I added a setting to disable the pause hack in the settings. I had problems with it wanting to buffer forever without the pause hack though because the server misreports the size of the video.
I did another update. here are some changes
1. all videos now have a context menu items 'Related Playlist' which will add 30 videos to the xbmc playlist related to the selected video. This does not add the video itself so queue it yourself before hitting 'Related Playlist' if you want it.
2. Related playlist mode is also an option in the settings. This mode allows will queue up 30 related videos automatically when you play any video. It just lets you select a video and forget it for a while.
3. On artist A-Z listings I have eliminated the pagination and just listing all the artist in the letter for all or that specific genre.
4. the pause hack I mentioned a couple times is a setting now. turn it off if you like.
update: I added a pause hack delay variable(1-10) in the settings. if you turn off the hack and everything plays fine then you don't need it.
if you enabled it and the video it just paused when you start it then increase the delay.

Just forced a repo refresh, pure awesomeness mate. Found one more issues, when opening artists alphabetically, the script fails once it gets to 500 artists. Only tried on "c", as I was looking for coldplay.

I'm on Eden August 25th build, on 7. When I click on any of the videos, nothing happens? I see the title and picture but cannot get the videos the play...

I just tried c listing for all artist and it went ok for me. could you post a log of the failure? I have a feeling a web request failed. I should handled that more gracefully and try again.
markswift: I am not sure. if you could post a log from when you select a video I might have more insight.
please use pastebin, pastie, or such when posting logs and not on the forum.
also added a pause hack delay in the setting. increase it if you experience a pause at the beginning of the video. try disabling it first though. you might not need it.

Hmmm,
I am navigating to video, add ons, vevo, finding a video and hitting enter! Nothing happens, I only launched the plugin once in my example!
Seriously I'm hitting enter like a mad man!

P.S. Tested in Vevo website and the videos I am trying to play work fine.

Okay, here is the latest log.
I added a playlist and then started the first item, it gave a script error message and then moved to the second item where it stuck on 3% buffering.

markswift: dunno what the problem is for you playing them directly. the video that you got a 404 on plays for me. the other one seems to be starting correctly. if it buffers you can just press play or try the pause hack in the settings.

Last update solved all issues for me, keep the dev coming, loving this addon. Maybe an option to add artists to favourites within the plugin. "Add to VEVO favourite artists".

I am working on login and accessing playlists on the site right now. I want to be able to save all the vevo videos in the xbmc playlist to a vevo online playlist. It will also access the stored playlist online. I like this option because you can login into the website, build a playlist, and access it in xbmc.
