I am having a frustrating time trying to get the playlist function to work. I am running xbmc on my MacBook Pro. I have tried logging in from safari first. Nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?

Trying to use the VEVO addon,
Upgraded to Frodo (Windows), downloaded the repo ZIP, installed. Browsed to BlueCop's addons... list is empty? (no addons showing at all)

Noticed the same - A "Force refresh" (context menu) on the repo solved it for me.

Aha...that got me up and running. Thanks.

However I can only get videos playing if i select the "play via Youtube" option. Direct Vevo playback either rtmp or http doesn't even start playing the video.

Here's a debug log...if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it!

I do wish they would hurry up and free VEVO out to the rest of the world. Used this great app when I was back home in the UK but it doesn't work in the UAE... despite VEVO being part owned by ADMC - Abu Dhabi Media Company!

When trying to play Vevo file on Android device using MXplayer, the player returns message "Click OK when playback has ended" and nothing plays.
The debug log says that "XBMC cannot stay hidden for a launcher process" see below.

Thanks for this Add-on , it's wonderful , but it crash really often and close Xbmc .

CMBX789: I am not familiar with MXPlayer but I don't think it supports rtmp streams. you could try the http option in the add-on settings.

freddy_krueger: no idea. try to get a log of the crash.

Just noticed that they now have vevo tv. An always-on stream for random videos. It would make a nice addition

I fired up wireshark and figured out the rtmp link for streams intended for my computer. Unfortunately the h.264 video profile doesn't seem to be decodable by my Apple TV 2 setup.

Here's the link for anyone interested. I'm guessing it should work on other platforms with higher processing capabilities

You can also switch to playpath=stream512000 for a smaller size video
