I am sorry it took me so long to write an answer!
English is (obviously) not my first language. I have some movies in my library which got some really strange official translation of their names into my language. eg: "The Sum of All Fears" --> "Der Anschlag"(translates back into "The Assault").
Since i am using imdb as movie scraper, xbmc only ever lists the english names of movies found, which is just fine with me but sometimes I can't for the life of me remember how the movie was called in english, just because someone in my country though it would be a great idea to give it a completely different name
Searching for actual filenames would allow me to name my files appropriately and get the translated names this way.

if string 32101 is too long you can use "Inserire Stringa di Ricerca" instead of what i have used.
tried in bello and it's fine don't know in other skins.

thanx, but i can't update the language files.
all translations are handled by our transifex project.
you can subscribe to it and change the file yourself.

ok, added actor search to the addon, give it a shot and let me know if there's any issues:

note: for testing purposes, it will use the built-in skin provided by the addon for now.
