Chroumium Browser in XBMC Font Problem - tododo - 2011-09-05 Hi all im a bit stuck hoping for some help I have XBMC installed on Ubuntu 11.04 Server and most things are running fine Ive decided to try and get a browser installed so have installed chromium and that is opening up through the advanced launcher plugin I did have a problem with only half of the display being used ive now installed fluxbox wm and played with that so that when switching to chromium the screen is now fully used - I think there are two windows in use under fluxbox Im happy so far The problem I have now is that the font size in the browser is really small Ive played with the xorg.conf and added Option "DPI" "200 x 200" and so on That does do something to the toolbar I have in the bottom of the screen but thats all - the browser text stays the same heres my xorg.conf as it is now #Configuration file generated by nvidia-xconfig # nvidia-xconfig: version 270.41.06 ([email protected]) Mon Apr 18 15:14:00 PDT 2011 Section "Device" Identifier "nvidia" Driver "nvidia" Option "DPI" "200 x 200" Option "NoLogo" "true" Option "DynamicTwinView" "false" Option "NoFlip" "false" Option "FlatPanelProperties" "Scaling = Native" Option "ModeValidation" "NoVesaModes, NoXServerModes" Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP-1" Option "ModeDebug" "true" Option "HWCursor" "false" EndSection Section "Screen" Identifier "screen" Device "nvidia" SubSection "Display" Modes "1920x1080" "1920x1080_60" "1920x1080_60_0" "1920x1080_50" "1920x1080_24" "1920x1080_60i" "1920x1080_50i" "1280x1024" "1280x1024_60" "1280x720" "1280x720_60" "1280x720_60_0" "1280x720_50" "1024x768" "1024x768_60" "800x600" "800x600_60" "720x576" "720x576_50" "720x576_50i" "720x480" "720x480_60" "720x480_60i" "640x480" "640x480_60" EndSubSection EndSection Section "Extensions" Option "Composite" "false" EndSection Does anybody have any idea what I can try to get the font size bigger in the browser thanks for any guidance - Angelscry - 2011-09-05 There is a "Minimal Font Size" option into Chromium. You Need to go to Preferences / Advanced Options / Customize Fonts. Here you can increase the minimum font size to 24. Then you can also play with the Chromium zoom option CTRL+/CTRL- to fit the webpage to the wide of your screen. |
