As far as I am aware there is no automatic way to do it. So I go to the files section of XBMC remove the source (Television) and readd it. That will then ask you if you want to get the info from the internet or locally. Choosing to scrape it locally will load all of your new images.

I'm not sure where at in the system you are talking about. Can you be more detailed?

In the XBMC menu under Videos you should have a Files section. That will take you to the section where you can see Television and Movies (depending on what you called them when you added them) You will also see the option to add source on this screen. So what I did was right click (context menu) on the television entry and select remove source. Link for more details http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Media_sources

It will ask you if you want to clean library which you should do. Once thats done you will want to add source and select the drive area where your TV shows are stored. Set content to TV Shows and set it to run automated scan - and click ok. It will then rescan and grab all of your new images.

Doing this will lose your 'watched' flag history. You might want to back up the db so you can keep this information, if it is important to you.

Thanks for the info

EMM won't save the country label. I deleted media.emm and let it recreate it. It scans the country label and fills it in, but after I hit enter to save the movie details the country label is gone. If I double click the movie to go back in and change the details the country label is totally gone.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
Bill

Try each of the following in turn.

1/ rescrape season
2/ rescrape show
3/ remove the show from ember db and scan it again

myron Wrote:ok, found a big problem (at least for me / xbmc) with v5/v6/2421/2422 (clean install). Left everything standard, but:

Ember doesn't write any MOVIE.NFO/TBN anylonger after scraping, although it is selected in setup! Just the <moviename>.nfo/tbn are written!

Pleeeease correct that Smile
ok, i found them Wink
They're IN the VIDEO_TS folder.
It worked formerly with enabling YAMJ/MediaPortal compatibility mode - unfortunately this seems not to work anylonger.

I'm not really familiar with VB, so could someone get me into direction, in which source file the save happens (or where the path will be computed)? will try to hack this in (for me)

I've been noticing that with v2422, in TV Shows, runtime is showing up in seconds instead of minutes. This isn't happening for movies, although I suspect this may have to do with the fact that you can set the Duration Format for Movies. Is there a setting that I'm missing that is telling EMM to use seconds for runtime for TV Shows instead of minutes? I've double-checked with my separate installation of rev2420_v5 and it's doing it there too. Any ideas?

Here's an example. Notice that <runtime> towards the top is the same as <durationinseconds> in the fileinfo area:

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<episodedetails>
  <title>Episode 120</title>
  <runtime>1587</runtime>
  <aired>2011-06-03</aired>
  <season>1</season>
  <episode>20</episode>
  <plot>Christy and Ignatiy review "Beautiful Boy," "Beginners," "Film Socialisme," "Submarine," and "Tuesday, After Christmas"; Roger reviews "X-Men: First Class"; Matt Singer discusses "Videodrome."</plot>
  <fileinfo>
    <streamdetails>
      <audio>
        <channels>2</channels>
        <codec>mp3</codec>
      </audio>
      <video>
        <aspect>1.773</aspect>
        <codec>xvid</codec>
        <durationinseconds>1587</durationinseconds>
        <height>352</height>
        <scantype>Progressive</scantype>
        <width>624</width>
      </video>
    </streamdetails>
  </fileinfo>
</episodedetails>

OK, it appears TVDB is back up and I've been scraping some shows. First off I seem to be able to only do individual scrapes, I cannot do a bulk scrape of TV shows, that option is ALWAYS greyed out. Next I'm getting this error message EVERY time I click on a TV show or episode. Changing (adding/deleting) genres just doesn't seem to stick. Also, for some reason emmber has decided to name some shows only season 7 - even shows with no season 7, such as band of brothers and firefly. It scrapes the right show, posters, etc, but only sees every ep as season 7, ep 20. Help. Don't mean to sound ungrateful, it's just I like Emmber and would really like to use it to it's full potential. Sad

Running 2422

Asus A8n32-SLI delux
Opteron 165 dual core

Don't feel bad, topcat. I posted a couple of days before you about runtime showing up in seconds instead of minutes for TV Shows. Seems like a big bug to me, but I assumed I was the only experiencing this since no one else replied. Over on the Boxee Box forums, some else posted the same problem. He was using version 2415 and his fix was to revert back to 2411. Makes me feel better that it's not something on my end. Still, seems like a bug that's worth fixing.
