Problems with 1080p mkv - Tomislav - 2011-09-22
Hello!
I again have some small problems with my XBMC
When I play mkv in 1080p, the picture lags, or better said, the frame rate drops. For a couple of seconds it plays smooth then, for a couple of minutes this problem apears. It's watchable but annoying. When I play the file in BSplayer it plays smooth without problems. So I think the hardware isn't a problem, still these are my specs:Intel E6300
3gb ram
radeon HD 6450 silent
WD 2 tb green
Anyone has any idea what would be the problem?

Have you enabled hardware acceleration in System settings, Video, Playback?

The DXVA2 that says hardware aceleration? I have that enabled, and also tried dissabled, and it was the same
