iTunes & XBMC in Harmony - atsumori - 2011-09-28
Hi,
For various reasons I'd like to run iTunes for my music and XBMC or my video. However, I run into a problem where iTunes locks up whenever a surround sound video is played at the same time in XBMC as music is playing in iTunes. I was wondering if someone could explain to me how to make this not happen.
I'm running both XBMC (Dharma) and iTunes (Latest) on a 2010 Mac Mini running Windows 7 (64), with audio output through the optical jack. I'm sure this is an issue with exclusive mode and the sound card, but I haven't figured out what combination of settings will allow iTunes and XBMC (Surround) in harmony without iTunes locking up whenever I forget to pause my music.
Anyway, any help getting iTunes and XBMC to play well together would be greatly appreciated!
