I can just say that it works with my HP receiver and HP remote. Can't tell for other models (works also for pyrospawn and I'm sure he has another remote).

Before it works though, you need to power on your PC and then do a normal shutdown.

Keep in mind though that as soon as you connect something else on another USB port, you'll need to disconnect all your USB cable and power supply before it can work again.

So, not a perfect set-up so far, but if you don't connect things on your coimputer, it should always work.

I have the same IR as your for my other HP remote, and I have one of this set "MCE English Remote". I used several other IR in the past, but non has the same ranges and responsive as HP IR. Smile

So today I connected my inteset CIR adapter to my intel DH67CF motherboard.

What works: Control XBMC once the htpc is powered on

what does not work: wake up NOR power up htpc.

Consumer IR is enabled in BIOS, I can't find any other option...

i have a flirc (well, it shipped at least) and a harmony 650. i don't want my htpc to power off, but rather go to sleep.

can this be done with flirc? i would assume so, but, i want to just make sure it can put it asleep and then wake it up as well.
