This is the 2nd time installing of xbmc-20111009-6c95a7c. See below. The first time I install this Oct 9 ATV nightly, I could get to the A in a-z. It was loading very slow. Then eventually had script error. And my next action would crash to LT. I dont have the log. Some errors about zip or something. It can't reproduce this as everytime I re-install the Oct. 9th, it just crashed to LT when pressing A-Z So I went back to xbmc-20111007-fec9b62-master-atv2.deb 07-Oct-2011 18:12 And all is fine. I can go to A-Z and browse A, the dir loads fast. No crashes or script errors. Works fine in Win7 x64 with XBMCSetup-20111009-6c95a7c-master.exe 09-Oct-2011 10:40 I have not tried xbmc-20111007-e330173-master-atv2.deb 08-Oct-2011 11:34 So do those logs about provide any clues? - Memphiz - 2011-10-09 nice report - thx for doing it correct @davilla i would need the symbols for it please - davilla - 2011-10-10 symbolicatecrash is having problems help. - Dixon Butz - 2011-10-10 I was able to reproduce the script error when clicking on A in A-Z in TV Shows by installing xbmc-20111007-e330173-master-atv2.deb 08-Oct-2011 11:34 XBMC Log: http://pastebin.com/naMexfYP It has the same errors as the first time I installed the Oct 9. If i remember correct you need to put the XBMC.frappliance into the folder aswell (side by side to the dSYM). I don't know why this is ... but it worked for me then. So best to try is extract the frapp from the nightly deb. (ar -x is your friend ...) Let me know if this worked ... and if this gained me points *haha* - davilla - 2011-10-10 two points to Memphiz Code: Thread 16 Crashed: - davilla - 2011-10-10 this bt is strange; why is a call in python's call into _imaging.so getting back to GUIFontManager's destructor ? full bt here -> http://pastebin.com/HNS1SzQW Thread 21: 0 libsystem_c.dylib 0x3110e82c 0x310d0000 + 256044 1 libsystem_c.dylib 0x31111a4e 0x310d0000 + 268878 2 libsystem_c.dylib 0x31137062 0x310d0000 + 421986 3 libstdc++.6.dylib 0x33922fac 0x338e1000 + 270252 4 libstdc++.6.dylib 0x3390f1f6 0x338e1000 + 188918 5 libstdc++.6.dylib 0x3390f238 0x338e1000 + 188984 6 libstdc++.6.dylib 0x3390f250 0x338e1000 + 189008 7 XBMC 0x005317ee OrigFontInfo::~OrigFontInfo() (StdString.h:2036) 8 XBMC 0x00530786 GUIFontManager::~GUIFontManager() (stl_construct.h:107) 9 XBMC 0x00a1c362 __tcf_4 (GUIFontManager.cpp:49) 10 libsystem_c.dylib 0x310fb910 0x310d0000 + 178448 11 libsystem_c.dylib 0x310fb84a 0x310d0000 + 178250 12 _imaging.so 0x07bd75a0 0x7bd1000 + 26016 13 _imaging.so 0x07bd75cc 0x7bd1000 + 26060 14 _imaging.so 0x07bd1e8a 0x7bd1000 + 3722 15 libpython2.6.dylib 0x04b32bba 0x4aa1000 + 596922 - davilla - 2011-10-10 "Icefilms ndeshmukh 's latest" which version, how to get it, setup, etc. - Dixon Butz - 2011-10-10 davilla Wrote:"Icefilms ndeshmukh 's latest" which version, how to get it, setup, etc. Here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=905585&postcount=3333 - Dixon Butz - 2011-10-10 You do not need the movie and tvshow backdrop packages from post 3334 - davilla - 2011-10-10 ok, the problem is PIL support came into trunk a few days ago. The modified icefilms plugin uses PIL's image. There are two ways to import that in python, each results in a different python HASH and PIL's access.c detects this and calls exit(1) which results in xbmc's death as objects are getting destroyed while threads are still running, bang... crash. see http://jaredforsyth.com/blog/2010/apr/28/accessinit-hash-collision-3-both-1-and-1/ - Dixon Butz - 2011-10-10 Is it the plugin or the nightly that can be fixed? - davilla - 2011-10-11 fixed in 4dd98b51c13fe28fa01d0cddd8b94e14ad03c6b1. just a warning, this plugin seems to need more love as it generated various warnings and non-fatal errors. |
