Lost library after update? - skaap2k - 2011-10-16
Hello,
I just updated my nightly build to the most recent (xbmc-20111015), however it seems that it is now going through and re-creating the library? I have over 2tb of TV Episodes stored on my network, and this process takes a few hours to complete... Does this happen normally? Or should I only be doing my "nightly" updates while I'm not looking to watch TV?!
PS, I use my iPad/iPhone to browse my library and rely on the library being available, too.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!

Updating nightlies does not reset the library. You need to post a debug log: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=92480

I would stop the library update, it should not be needed. From other posts there might be a problem with the Update on startup option being inverted on the last build.
If the problem exists - it should be fixed very quickly!
