Feature Request: Display friendly name of connected XMBC instead of Version - nexea - 2011-10-19
Hello guys. This is my first post, be gentle. If this sort of thing is encouraged, I can post some more ideas. I thought I'd register and post some of the ideas before I forget them. Here goes..
I thought it would be useful to show the friendly name of the connected XMBC server instead of the version number on the main page. That way you can quickly see which instance you are issuing commands on just by looking at the main screen.
I have 3 XMBC hosts set up on my phone and find that it can be confusing when I pick up the phone to watch a movie and mistakenly realize that I am controlling the wrong XBMC instance.
