is XBMC stable on ATV 4.3? - ATVwaffles - 2011-10-22

I havent seen any threads recently on this, and sorry if its already been discussed.

I have an apple tv thats still on 4.2.2 I believe and runs XBMC perfectly

just bought an open box apple tv that had 4.3 stock on it.

thanks.

I just set up XBMC on a 4.3 only ran it for a few hours.

Icefilms,Iplayer and Pandora all worked fine. This is with the latest nightly.

Now jailbreaking the 4.3 was a pita.

Good luck.

Yeah dfu mode is always a pain to deal with on Apple TV for whatever reason

i think its doing the process now on iTunes

thanks for the update.

i guess its the latest apple tv version that isnt compatible with XBMC right?

so I gotta be careful to not update either box (by installing auto update off app)

dfu mode is easy, watch the led blink rate, it will miss a beat when it goes into dfu so keep the two buttons down until you see the miss, then bingo Smile
