Hello.
another question from a newbie..my xbmc using stable 10.1 on apple tv and a yamaha ac3 dts receiver..
my xbmc log shows the following..
13:53:11 T:106090496 M:127565824 INFO: Using digital output
13:53:11 T:106090496 M:127565824 INFO: AC3 pass through is disabled
13:53:11 T:106090496 M:127565824 INFO: DTS pass through is disabled
13:53:11 T:106090496 M:127565824 INFO: AAC pass through is disabled
13:53:11 T:106090496 M:127565824 INFO: MP1 pass through is disabled
13:53:11 T:106090496 M:127565824 INFO: MP2 pass through is disabled
13:53:11 T:106090496 M:127565824 INFO: MP3 pass through is disabled
I have a receiver that is capable of ac3 and dts is this correct that my log is showing AC3 AND DTS passthrough disabled?? do I need to enable if so how to do it ??

Edit: re-read your post, I see you haven't actually found the settings.
From the main XBMC menu go to:
System/Settings -> System -> Audio Output

And i think you mean the AppleTV1 (because there is no 10.1 for ATV2) - if so just say a word and we'll move you into the right forum (this forum is about the AppleTV 2nd Generation - the tiny black one).

this was regarding apple tv 2 I have actually found settings enabled dts but now getting errors on my log will post this issue on another post..thx for all your help thx
