Where is the file for resolution setting stored? - mrdos - 2011-11-03
Can someone please tell me which file the resolution setting is stored in?
I want to see exactly what settings XBMC has because output to my TV works great as long as I am in XBMC.
However, when I exit to the Windows Desktop my picture is scrambled.
I have Windows 7 and XBMC both set at 1920x1080 so there must be some little difference in the settings.

it's stored in guisettings.xml in %appdata%\xbmc\userdata

For some reason the resolution was changing when I exited XBMC.
I used Teamviewer to log into my XBMC computer from my laptop while the screen was scrambled and then I was able to correct the resolution in windows.
