How about a known good hardware for platform _____..

I know a lot of good information is around this forum on this topic but a database like a compatible hardware list would be a good start for most.

How to run Nightlies and the stable version sidebyside and the issues with doing so??

How to move from one version to the next (upgrade from stable to stable, or stable to nightly) without losing your library?

Thanks!
Ned, as I will try to update more pages and maybe create some I wanted to ask you if you could ninja me...
Or do I have to ping Cory?

Ninja is no longer necessary. Any account that has existed for at least 3 days and has made 5 edits becomes "auto confirmed", which has all the same abilities as Ninja (including page creation). I just checked to make sure, and sure enough you've already been auto confirmed and should have those abilities now.

Thanks for the info...didn't know that...so let's rock the wiki Laugh

Small issue or better said suggestion:
As I'm not allowed to change the toolbox and the links, I would suggest a
direct link in toolbox to category outdated...
Then you have let's say some kind of to-do-list...
I know, not all outdated articles are marked "outdated" but I think this would be a good start and makes things easier...

It's me again...
is there a way how to communicate with all persons that work on the wiki quite often?
IRC is not really that specific...

As I'm not a native speaker in English, can somebody revise the following article:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Media_flags

Ned Scott Wrote:I was actually thinking of making Vector the default skin on XBMC Wiki as well.

Got my plus 1 on that.

And may I just say well done Ned, someone stepping up to the wiki organisin task - not a desirable task. :Claps:

Skin default is now Vector, and I started a "rough draft" layout for the main page.

Looks good...

Very nice!

I gave editing the wiki a try, whilst I don't know more than is already on the wiki I thought i'd try making it look a little nicer (no to offend anyone who put the effort in originally):

Old one:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Global_Keyboard&oldid=20827

My update:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Global_Keyboard#Common_Platform-Independent_Keymapping

I'e only changed the the table and centred the titles of the table but wahat do you think?

If you like it i'll try doing some other pages too.

Looks good, but shouldn't this article(s) be renamed?
Keymap.xml was camelot and earlier...since dharma it is named keyboard.xml

If it should be changed I can take a look at it tonight...
