Nothing is quiet on full..... RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - eskro - 2012-04-21 (2012-04-21, 01:42)Beer40oz Wrote: Nothing is quiet on full..... hmmm... DT? Disable DXVA2 and everything esle in XBMC settings/video/playback and disable "Use a fullscreen window rather than a true fullscreen", it'll do 1080P and bitstreaming with ease....... RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - waver123 - 2012-04-21 beer/eskro, Here's the closeup pic of the shuriken Rev B. in the isk300 case RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - Beer40oz - 2012-04-21 Wow! it just fits! Nice thank you for the pics....... So are you going to keep that in there or you going to try the Big 2100? hows the noise with that one? what is the RMP when the lid is on? you changed it in bios to be low right? Level 1 .... 50c RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - waver123 - 2012-04-21 It's perfectly silent and is cool, I'll probably keep it there for now and save the big shuriken for an A8 upgrade down the road I'll set the fans to auto 50C and level 1 same as in your post, it's spinning at 520 rpm. RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - eskro - 2012-04-21 wow, looks like it was meant for it o.O RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - waver123 - 2012-04-21 it's FTW eskro! nice find for the hidden PSU, I love the external brick. RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - eskro - 2012-04-21 external brick FTW!! So I read that the power brick is at 32W when playing a 1080p video.... interesting ..... I am going to test out my 65w brick..... I am going to leave it on playing some 1080p vids .... if I don't get any trouble then I will take down the 90w brick..... Is all about testing..... great that there is no need to buy a separate power brick.. So far so good!!!!! RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - eskro - 2012-04-24 i always testified that the 65w Power Brick of the ISK300-65 was capable of handling XBMC 1080P just fine. its if your a Prime95 + FurMark addict and you run them both at same time everyday then, 65w brick wont cut it. but anyhow, just keep your 90W for your second HTPC Beer40. then one that you'll use for more then just playing 1080P using XBMC. LOL but I might! But yes I am keeping my 90w for my other setup as its going to fix PAR's and that uses 100% cpu power....so I know it's going to spike to 80w..... but keeping 65w brick on my HTPC.... updated my post too...
