RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - Castrol - 2012-04-04 08:04 Read my mind - I have just seen this http://www.anandtech.com/Show/Index/5696?cPage=6&all=False&sort=0&page=1&slug=puget-systems-echo-intel-and-amd-showdown-at-65-watts RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - Beer40oz - 2012-04-04 08:20 Good finds! The Thermaltake MeORB looks interesting. I might give that a shot. I saw that it's compatible with the FM1 boards. Sweet............
RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - eskro - 2012-04-04 09:20 why not the big shuriken? it fits, and will ventilate like crazy!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=8EcKXj54uQI RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - Beer40oz - 2012-04-04 16:56 (2012-04-04 09:20)eskro Wrote: why not the big shuriken? I still will like to keep the fan cage in there. I will think about it. ![]() Well by looking at it the drive cage might fit..... as the stuff is in different places. It looks like the CPU slot is more to the center. Don't you think? ![]()
RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - Beer40oz - 2012-04-04 17:19 You might be right about not even using the 80mm fan that comes with the case. I got this review from newegg.... "Used this on a ASROCK A75M-ITX board, with a AMD A8-3870K processor in a Foxconn RM233+DSI-250P case. Tight fit but works. All hardware supplied worked great. Only slightly noisy fan now is the case fan, I turned that off don't seem to need it now." RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - eskro - 2012-04-04 17:22 told ya, i have 3 of those tri-cool fans bro. all 80mm too... big shuriken ftw!! RE: ANTEC ISK300-65's hidden PSU Spec - wsume99 - 2012-04-04 17:25 Well if you are using an APU then I think that all you'd need is the fan on the heat sink. The DC-DC PSU doen't need a fan like a normal PSU and since the case is so small the fan on the heat sink will likely move enough air to keep the case well ventilated so you can ditch the case fan.
